confirmed
PRESS RELEASE

MONTREAL - The Montreal Canadiens announced today that forward Aaron Palushaj has been assigned to the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs.

In 15 games with the Canadiens this season, Palushaj recorded seven shots on goal, four blocked shots and 11 hits, while averaging 6:36 of ice time per game.

Recalled from the Bulldogs for the second time this season on November 9, the 22-year old forward totals eight points (1 goal and 7 assists) in seven games with Hamilton this season. One of his goals was scored on the powerplay. Palushaj added 20 shots on goal.

A native of Livonia, Michigan, Palushaj was acquired from the St. Louis Blues in return for Matt D’Agostini on March 3, 2010.

Hamilton fans must be happy and Leblanc fans too... unless he ends up playing on the 4th line. Then people will get mad.

Possibly good news for Leblanc. IMO, he deserves at least a few more games.

This guy is useless. Dago has 10 points and is +12 , Palushaj's accomplishments are expressed in shots-on-goal. SMITR (smartest man in the room) needs to be accountable.

Well deserved for Leblanc who merits at least a few more games. Defensively sound, with an offensive upside...JM must love him haha

Unless Leblanc is going to play with AK and Eller there's no reason to keep him up.

He's definitely useless on the 4th line like D'Ago was useless on the 4th line.

I thought Palushaj looked good in the limited minutes he played. He won't get a chance to thrive or produce if he plays 6 minutes a game, and he didn't, to no one's surprise really.

100 % agree with you.
And there are so many useless players in this team. That's why we have so many difficulty to win games. We often lose by 1 goal. Our 4th line of Darche (1pt) Nokelainen (2pts) and Palushaj (0pt) is completely useless. I can live with Nokelainen, but you need a minimum of production from your 4th line. And it's not like if they are physical or defensive players, just bad

IMO, hell play 3rd line for first 2 periods and 3rd line for the 3rd if we have a lead, as Moen is more defenseively responsible at this point. But am i loving Leblancs play at both ends of the ice.

Just keep him with Eller and AK, and put Nokelainen with Moen and Darche on the 4th, while benching a D.

The funny part is that D;agostini has 4 points in his last 17 games. I could just imagine the bashing he and timmins would get if he would be in that kind of a slump in Montreal.

Grass is greener elsewhere.

Leblanc has definitely the smarts to play in the NHL but I'm scared that one day he'll get broken in pieces

What do you guys expect from him? If Cammalleri played with Nokelainen and Darche 3 minutes a game/ no pp time he wouldnt get anymore points.. I thought for the time he was used he showed great things. He drawed a couple of penalities.

He also good 3rd line minutes over the last two years and in 18 games not even a single point.
He got some chances but never came through. Leblanc has done better than him in just two games.

True, he was playing mainly with Nokalainen and Darche of all people. And Darche is the king of useless.

Agreed. He needs to seriously bulk up, like Max Lapierre did. Plus he needs to work on his acceleration and overall skating. Power skating lessons will be on the menu for him next summer. But he's got hockey sense and determination. You can't teach that.

Cammalleri's playing on the top-line and he's STILL not getting many points, but that's for another thread.
