I think the fans would rather not be responsible for a delay of game call against the panthers

The teams that we play against don't take us for granted. Only stupid fans who's opinions I don't care about. So I don't really care if people aren't giving us credit, they don't know what they are talking about. I just care about the W's.

Would that legit happen? Otherwise I would bring half a dozen rats to the game.

The threat of delay of game calls is what ended the rat on the ice after goals moment. I think if we make the playoffs this year, the rats will be back in full force and the league will have to accept it as NHL tradition when the cats reach the playoffs.

Yeah I'm sure you can order them online but I was also hoping to get one locally for tonights game myself. Forgot to go look this weekend but I'll try and look at lunch time around the BAC to see if anyplace has them (and obviously report back).

My understanding of the rat rule lol is that one was instituted after the playoff run stating that If fans throw objects during the game after a goal a delay of game penalty could be assessed. That is why Murph et al wait till after a win to begin the rat parade!

Don't worry they will be good fans, just ask the devils fans and the isles fans, they loved us and for your information it's the Panthers organisation who invited the Nordiques Nation.

I find it coincidental that your fans choose to display their pride at home games of teams with financial trouble. In which case im not sure why you choose the panthers game?

Let me know when nordiques nation travels to Toronto or New York City perhaps i will be less skeptical about the intent then.

Next steps are Boston, Detroit and Ottawa and we went to see a Habs game

And it's the florida Panthers that invited the Nordiques Nation when they knew what we were doing.

Yea with our success and the huge importance of this game although your plight will be lost here as a frivolous nonissue at a minimum you'll see typical good southeast hockey !
Btw when u say the organization invited you, can you share exactly whom?

SUNRISE, Fla. — If you head on over to Floridapanthers.com, the front page has a smaller sub-headline that reads like a horror movie title: “The Return of Vokoun.” The mind conjures a terrifying vision of the arrival of a monstrous right-handed catching goalie wearing a white No. 29 Capitals jersey, hitting opponents with his stick, kicking at pucks along the end boards like they are tiny soccer balls and denying rebounds off long shots by defensemen. But it’s really no horror show featuring some alien that’s invading the BankAtlantic Center this evening.

In fact, the headline above it is the real attention-grabber: “The Battle for First.” It’s the second meeting between the Washington Capitals and Florida Panthers — the Caps took the first one 3-0 in DC on Oct. 18 — and the first matchup in South Florida. At 7:30, the Panthers return from a 3-game road trip, two on the West Coast, to face Washington and new coach Dale Hunter, who scored his first win Saturday night when the Capitals beat Ottawa 3-2 just 12 seconds into overtime.

Perhaps you should attend avs games where the team you lost migrated too. It's hard to look at you in our arena favorably. Let's see how these fans conduct themselves, hopefully with the respect and dignity they should as fans without " a dog in tha fight".
