Anyone Know About That Defenseman Kokorev?

Just wondering about Calgary's draft pick that Defenseman Kokorev, Haven't heard any thing on him in a while?

Currently he's bouncing around in Russia, played for a handfull of teams off the top of my head over the past few years.

Right now he's playing for Voskresensk Khimik of the Russian League. No chance of him coming over.

None? Well, I doubt that. It doesn't seem likely, but Mathias Johansson came over 10 years after being drafted.

And now he plays on the penguins. He won't be coming over, nor does he have the skills to make it in the NHL.

Just watch the highlites of him, he's usually the one on the other end of goals.

kokorev wont make the nhl... especially not with flames..we are too deep there for him

He's like Rozakov except alittle less talented.

Like someone said earlier he wont be able to crack the Flames defensive squad as we are very deep in that type of defenseman. Stay at home physical blueliners which is what he is for the most part. Oh well.

Doubt if he will ever come over to North America, but if we get our own AHL team you never know.
