It's not so much freaking out as it is stating the obvious that we completely s..t the bed in that period

It's pointless. The boards has jumped off a cliff and aren't interested in details, let alone any sensitive input. Let them have their illusions if it makes them feel better. Always Hank's fault it he allows a goal.

Could've easily been 3-0. And that was NOT a garbage goal. Don't be such a homer.

The Rangers don't do homework. That's the problem. "It's about us. We worry about the Rangers." That's all well and good against most teams. But teams that have speed kill us and we never make ANY adjustments cause Torts refuses to.

Kessel and Lupul owned us that period.

Like others have said, not enough preparation it appears...

Rangers look completely discombobulated in their own end, chickens with heads cut off.

Sharoya has learned that she has to present herself well, but "like" punctuates every third word.

NYR look flat-footed. Leafs are simply skating circles around us.

The speed thing is tough for the Rangers, seeing that again here. Second periods are usually good and they get the energy going.
Gotta test that leaky Leafs defence.

I know it's early, but it looks like Toronto will be a team that will give us trouble all season long.

It's not that they were completely out-hustled and worked, which they were, it's the manner in which they were. Allowing yourselves to get dangled that many times, and fooled by that man behind the back passes means they weren't ready.

I'm not freaking out though, one bad period and I'm sure they'll come out ready for the 2nd.

Calm down. Jesus. Even the Isles had 20 mins of domination against us in the 1994 playoffs.

Soft call on Cally. If they called it slashing, I'd be more generous.

Can the Rangers have Barb Underhill teach them a quick skating lesson during the intermission? They looked like they were skating in mud.

they could very well be this season's Tamp Bay. Or they're jacked up knowing the HBO camera's are rolling.

This is the 3rd straight period they've dominated the Rangers.

Unless a Ranger player scores...then we see comments like : "WOW Cally what a goal...hall of fame bound for sure!"

Saw the first period prior to boarding this plane. Will see the final score when I land. The Rangers were a step behind the Leaves the entire period. Sure hope they can ramp it up for the next two periods. Hank should ha e had that goal, but was great not to give up more. LGR!
