Tejada has impressed me so far. The loss of Reyes was a huge sticking point for people saying the team was going to be bad. He's been everything you could have hoped for and more.

Nova did a decent job against a tough hitting team. Both teams left a ton of guys on. Situational hitting still shoddy for the Yankees

Easily. I seriously question its purpose now, especially after Gardner didn't win one despite that he was statistically the best fielder in the league.

Pelfrey certainly settled down this game, 8 strikeouts.

Game is going the distance.

If the Yankees could play the O's every game, they'd be the first team to go 162-0.

Mets 4-0??? This is the most unlikely of starts.

Nice win for the Mets.

Their batting lineup looks better without Reyes than with it.

They seem to be getting big hits when they need it.

Granted its pretty much meaningless at this point but still.

Every win means something. Ask the Braves and Red Sox if a game dropped in April means anything.

Murph and Tejada have exceeded all expectations as of so far. Ike is struggling, but good pitching (pelf settled down and the bullpen was good again) plus good hitting up and down the lineup. Good win.

Nice come back mets! Pelf started off shaky but did alright. DMurph, Tejada, Wright, Neuy, bullpen were amazing!

Need Davis and Duda to start going!

Fair enough.

But the wheels can fall off dramatically at this point.

Honestly, I don't even think much of anything until about 50 games in.

You guys think this team will play better without that whole "Los Mets" vibe around the clubhouse? Not to be xenophobic or anything. Just sayin.

Not a Mets fan, but pretty dumb to say it's meaningless.

Meaningless to say they are now WS favorites, yeah, but every game means something like the above said. Unless you mean meaningless as in they are now the greatest team on Earth, which then would be a little premature.

Well, we are talking the bi-polar, "what have you done for me lately?" New York sports fans. Just trying to have some levity I guess.

Love that guy. Hard not to after the way he ended Boston's season last year.
