Eakin is getting a long hard look in a scoring role. If he succeeds, it may help spell the end of Semin. But he needs to use his speed, and his line-mates need to keep pushing pucks up the wing so he can use his wheels. I cant see him succeeding just yet though. While its a skating league now, there are still a lot of big body's out there.
If Dale thinks he can score to help out team, I say get him out on the PP so he can develop some offensive chemistry and confidence. Most 2nd line players = PP2 guys.
Nice call on him being in our lineup this year Dirtbag

I really hate the Pens
I'm watching the Pens broadcast of their game vs the Bruins, and they came up with this fan poll question:
Who do you think will win the Stanley Cup?
1. Pittsburgh Penguins
2. Boston Bruins
3. Philadelphia Flyers
4. Detroit Red Wings
Yeah, those 4. No Vancouver, San Jose, Chicago, Minnesota, Washington, NY Rangers, Tampa etc.....
how typical.
Yes, not relevant to our game, but Jesus.

Eakin needs to keep his feet moving once he gets the puck on his stick. His play away from the puck is fine but he has a tendency to stop moving his feet once he gets the puck.
He's still adjusting to the speed on the NHL. Kid is going to be a good one.

Can't be impressed by the Orlov shot if he refuses to shoot...
