Lots of good choices tonight. I'm going with Bailey. Best game he's had all year.

i think the way bailey was playing meant they couldnt just focus on the tavares line. my definite choice. very good night for him.

I wanted to vote Ullstrom but Bailey was very good. HEY lets make sure the news of him being voted player of the game on here reaches his ears, we may just see him play a 2nd game in a row with confidence

Going with Bailey. He earned it.

Came in here to give Bailey some props and was happy to see he already received some.

I might be one of the few people who thought he was playing well before Ullstrom was called up. He got a boost from Ullstrom being on his line. He got a second boost from Comeau leaving. I'll say he got a third boost by not having Rolston on his line.

Bailey was very strong on the puck tonight; he's been consistently improving in that category over the last several games. It was nice to see Hedman bounce off of him. Bails' positioning was very sound as usual.

Food for thought: David Ullstom scored his first NHL goal tonight in his 8th NHL game. I'd imagine that most people haven't decided what kind of NHL player David is going to be as of this moment. He's been brought along slowly from an Islanders standpoint. Josh Bailey is over 5 months younger than Ullstrom and has played in 236 NHL games.

Mitch

Bailey, he is slowly but surely putting it together. The kid needs some guys that can put the puck in the net with him.

I voted Bailey.. But I also thought Kyle Okposo had an excellent overall game finishing checks and making plays.

Kyle threw 2 solid checks tonight that I noticed. It was a big WTF moment for me. I wish he'd do that more.

Wallace also threw his body around. If that's the type of player he is, then I say keep him up here.

Finished watching the game on DVR. I came over to vote for Bailey, assuming he would have very few votes, since he didn't actually score goal. I was happily surprised that I wasn't the only one that saw the intangibles Bailey brought to the game tonight. I think he's been one of the better players during the Islanders recent hot streak.

its bailey for me, partially because I am so pleasantly surprised with his recent play. Honourable mention to (holding breath): ko, ullstrom, jt, martin, pap, harmonic, toyota and streit. (and the chef)

They were all looking pretty good tonite, but I have to note that the backchecking and the D of Tampa looked really sluggish.

I voted Bailey. Hopefully he doesn't hit the snooze button on the alarm clock that seems to have woken him up.

To me, the best thing about Bailey the past few games is that he is playing at a consistent level throughout the game even when things aren't going his way early. A few weeks ago, it seemed to me like he would play pretty well in the first, but when he didn't score the confidence would start to fade throughout the game.

If he can learn that by consistently playing at a high level the points will eventually come, he will be ok.

Definitely Bailey. I'm a well-known hater, but he's been really good the last few games. Maybe getting rid of Comeau really helped him out. Then again when Campoli was traded Gervais played really well too

Still though, good stuff Bailey. Keep it up.

Surprised Wallace hasn't received even one vote. Thought he had a pretty solid debut.

Bailey is the clear winner here. Next poll after the next game.
