Everyone on here who is not an NYI fan swears it was 100% clean......It does not matter weather it was Fistrics Shoulder or Elbow, the fact is the point of impact was directly Nino's head......

We have the worst luck here on LI...our top Prospect was destroyed last nite...I hope Nino is ok.....He does not belong on the 4th line anyway.....

If Fistric doesn't get a suspension I will be very dissapointed.

That was definitely a dirty hit in my opinion. It's crazy how there's a thread on the main board praising that hit.

Even if he didn't leave his feet, which imo he did, he drove upwards towards the head which is illegal. The fact it was unpenalized is hilarious

That's exactly what I'm saying. If anything his toes were barely on the ice as his momentum (created by himself, not the collision as it hadn't happened yet) carried him upwards.

I am still upset that Pacioretty didn't get suspended when he ran Mark eaton from behind. I hope an Islanders gives him an open ice check as well as Cammelleri (he hit Nino in the face with his stick). It would be awesome to see those punks leave on stretchers (via legal hits of course)

As far as Fistric is concerned, he HAS to be suspended. Anything less will be a JOKE.

Ask yourself this. If Trevor Gillies had made the hit, would he have been suspended?

Most fans of other teams are morons. If Niederreiter was a Maple Leaf or a Canadien, the whole country of Canada would be up in arms, but since he's an Islander, it's ok.

Suspended, drawn and quartered, tarred and feathered or otherwise made an example of. He also would have gotten a 5 minute major and a game misconduct in game.

Regardless of what supplementary discipline there is (or isn't) it PISSES me off that they blind ****ing refs could not get this call correct during the game. Not only that, WE WOUND UP SHORTHANDED. The double-standard is sickening towards this franchise no matter what players are wearing the sweaters it seems.

Probably only Pens and Stars fans think it was fine.

Seriously I think most neutral fans think it was dirty, or AT LEAST borderline. Seems that only Stars fans think it was a beautiful hit.

If he is not suspended you can take everything Shannahan has said regarding head shots and throw them out the window.

I will repost my video again (super slow-mo)
You will see the elbow extend and hit Nino in the head (even though the Stars' fans are saying that the elbow was not extended in the follow through)

I don't get all the focus in the other thread about whether Fistric left his feet before or after contact. That's not the point at all IMO. Its whether he made contact with Nino's head and whether that was the principle point of contact. One is a question or not, the other is a question of suspension or not.

Wow, send that video to Shanahan AND the main board so all those anti-Islander's morons can see the truth. I at first thought he hit him in the head with his shoulder, that slo mo shows that he hits him in the head with his elbow. Anyone who tries to deny that video is just a complete moron.

Slowed down you could see how he bent down and loaded up his legs to drive up into Nino's head, that is what takes him off his feet. He left his feet to drive an elbow into Nino's head, it is so clear any dumbass could see it, even the king of all dumbasses Colin "the biased" Campbel would get this one right.

If I were a true hockey fan in Dallas I would be ashamed of fellow fans calling this a clean hit, how do you think our fans saying it makes me feel?
