Is Bob Dylan "The times, they are a-changing" allowed or is that too big a change?

Otherwise, I'll have to mention BNL.

I'll allow Dylan because I love that tune.

Yup.... kinda nervous.... just submitted my resume for the first time in a long time. Don't know why I'm nervous per say, it was only sending in a resume.

If I get the position (not saying that I will, a resume is just the first step in one of many obviously) it would be a big step forward for me, still be in food service which I love and be a roughly 35-40% raise.

Good luck, MM!

Question for all of you computer people out there...

I'm getting a new PC for Christmas and I'm trying to pick one out. I'm not so good with hardware, especially when it comes to RAM and processors. Which would be a better choice, one with an i3 processor and 6GB of RAM or one with an i5 processor and 4GB of RAM. (These are the two choices that fit best in our price range).

I've got a Toshiba right now with 4GB of RAM and a Centrino 2 processor that is almost 3 years old, and lately the speed has started to lag especially with videos. Mostly I have music and movies on it and play an occasional game, nothing too intense.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Good luck MM. I know what you're saying about a resume. I updated mine for the first time in 10 years last month. Not that I was looking, but people I know asked me for it knowing that my employer had been in the news and their future here is cloudy to say the least.

IMO, you should go with a Tandy or a Commodore 64

Even though I'm in I.T., it's beena while since I've dabbled in hardware. I would Google th processors, but I would say the more RAM the better. You're lagging with video's sounds more like a graphics card issue - if you are uploading video's. If you are streaming then it's probably RAM.

Personally we just bought a MAC Book and love it!! They are pricey, but I think they are well worth it.

Good luck!

If nobody here can help, the Geek Emporium forum has helped me out in similar situations in the past: http://hfboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=151

Two class days left. I have to write an advance story for tomorrow night's Sabres/Flyers game and a game story on the Bills/Chargers game Sunday to finish up my Sports Journalism final project. A final exam tomorrow evening. Three papers to write by Thursday, and three finals next week.

But here I am, on HF.

I'm actually looking forward to it though. Should be a fun angle to play with. Two teams that started hot and just threw their seasons away.
