And yes they can come back. My whole issue is this kind of soft play will not cut it in the playoffs. This team needs to start playing more responsibly and not get stuck into bad habits.

Maybe not, but every loss gives Detroit an opportunity to move into 1st.

I'm not saying this game is over, but Phoenix and Anaheim are in completely different leagues in terms of protecting a lead.

Phoenix is 11-1-3 when scoring first.. not impossible, but the way Chciago is playing I think they're more likely to give up two goals than score two themselves.

Yeah, but the last two games we'll have been 0-2. Projected to infinity, we'll never beat them again.

They haven't played physical since winning the cup, Q won't allow it.

usually when the Hawks are playing badly they will continue playing badly for the entire game. They rarely get it fixed within the game. This might get ugly, imo.

And Chicago is a game under .500 when giving up the first goal.

The season is barely 1/3 over after tonight. Relax.

Some of you guys live and die on every game.

Exactly! This is the point in the season when they want to put up as many points as possible so they're not faced with the same situation as last season....backing, (luckily), into the playoffs.

You are preaching to the choir man. I just wish the players would take it upon themselves. You saw the pushback against the blows. They have it in them, that's why it is so damn frustrating.

Yep ,, Q hates physical hockey

Not like his Blues teams were physical with Pronger , Twist , Mayers , Bergevin , Chase , etc

Yep that Q sure kept them down

So if a team doesn't win every night they are terrible right?

Because every game matters

At this point last year we were out of the top 8.

You said the game was over against the Ducks. I'm glad you realized how ridiculous an overreaction that was.

The Hawks certainly aren't in a good position. Anyone claiming this game over - please remember that hockey is a 60 minute game and we've got game breakers up and down the roster playing a goalie that has numbers far gaudier than his ability based on his NHL career to date.

I still expect this game to end close.

It's just last time all over again. God help us if we see the Yotes in the playoffs.

At this point last year, we were struggling to be the #8 seed.
