Re: Qmj proboards... What email are you using? They don't allow hotmail, yahoo and what not heres a quote from their rules and guidelines...
." We will no longer allow or activate any new users with generic e-mail addresses. Any new member must register with a valid ISP email address."
So ya thats why... They used to allow yahoo and hotmail but not anymore... I got a buddys email and he registered for me... I use "his" account.
I hope that helps What were u gunna post about alumni?
Well that's stupid. I don't have any other type of e-mail account. Forums are such **** for that these days... No wonder that forum has terrible activity
I wouldn't count Quebec out by any means, and Roy is still setting himself up for a strong squad next season. There is still the question of goaltending in SJ. My prediction is that Gibson ends up there.

Saint John does need to upgrade their goaltending ... but the only way that they trade for Gibson is if Galiev is unable to return from his wrist injury or he is included in a deal with Chicoutimi. Most talk has been about the top defensemen. I haven't heard or read much about goalies on the move, besides the reported deals involving Cape Breton.
What is the buzz about goalies on Quebec based teams?

Terrible activity? What the **** are talking about?? Lol?
goalie Alexandre Veronneau to be traded to Quebec. He's the only player involved in the deal. This move will obviously fuel speculations concerning Brassard.
My bad I thought I was clear but looking back at my posts I wasn't at all. I meant specifically in the CBSE section of the forum. Seems like most of the activity on the forum comes from outside of CBSE fans.

Oh, lol ya... CB has dried up and for good reason.. I see you finally solved your email dilemha.
Most action comes outta the Moose or Bathurst boards.
Saint John has made some more moves, replacing Oke + amassing picks

Does anybody think theres still a chance the rocket trade duffy and lagace or will the ship sail with us missing another great chance to start a real good rebuild

I think the ship has passed and gone.
LGM mentions that he is happy with his present team.
That indicates to me that the offers were not there for anyone of the tic-tac-toe line.
I don't see how there would have been huge offers for Duffy and none interesting for these.
As for Lagace, I heard that teams wanted Steeves.
So I imagine that Lagace could be on a last minute deal.

Who knows, theres still Quebec, Shawi and Victo who are buying.
To GM:
I'm a little surprised that SJ would trade for a low import pick.

Wonder what's going on.
Both the the Sea Dogs' Euros (Galiev and Jurco) are now 19 and expected to play professionally next season, so Mike Kelly is looking to trade up to get 2 high-end Euros next summer as part of the rebuild/reload.
Most of the chatter around Saint John is that it's a 2-horse race in the Gormley Sweepstakes between the Sea Dogs and Victo.
Also, in light of the trades to acquire Villemaire and the draft picks, most fans are still waiting for Kelly to acquire another goalie. While Chris Gibson would be great (if Galiev is unable to return from his wrist injury), I think Gusse or Gervais-Chouinard is more likely.

I know the need 2 new euros, I'm wondering why the would trade for Rimouski import pick when it isn't a high one.
