Great way to showcase the game in Philly... Defensive snoozefest with ****** ice conditions and pre-lockout officiating.

edit: And after I say that we get 3 goals in 3 minutes.

Doesn't Jagr do the salute to honor a dead relative? Pretty gutless move by Prust.

Schenn finally scores.

Am I the only person who isn't high on this kid? Just not a fan.. I'd honestly rather Leblanc.

I definitely wouldn't go that far, but I think his wjc performance led a lot of people to overrate him. His family name didn't hurt either.

The goal he scored this afternoon is how I envision him getting most of them in his career.

I wish so much that the Habs would have the skill, the toughness and the swagger of teams like the Rangers and the Flyers.

Teams with skill, toughness, grit and play physical.

I just never saw anything in his game that truely stood out to me as amazing, I don't really like his brother either... The fact he plays for the Leafs probably compounds my hatred. I find they're both overated based on the fact they are good-looking western canadian boys who had good success at the junior level. Luke being drafted by Toronto then set off a media frenzy surrounding Braydon and whether or not he'd be joining Luke on the Leafs and the legend just seem to grow from there. The hype was simply too much for either to meet (or atleast up until now).

Just don't like them.

We have some elements... But a re-tool is definitely in order in my opinion. Habs have been cream-puffs the majority of my years watching hockey, and it's unfortunte.

Is that why Jagr was trolling Pens fans? Maybe the salute started that way, but it certainly wasn't used that way soon after.
I assume you meant Rupp.'

edit: ah, sorry I see you did correct that

I really don't find the Flyers that tough any more, especially with Pronger done. That being said I'm insanely jealous of that team for a variety of reasons. Their defense sucks but damn do they have firepower.

Because Bryz has proven himself to be a clown on skates. Nine years of this albatross of a contract. Going to supplant the Gomez deal as the worst ever.
