This wasn't just another regular season game. We all got to witness something truly remarkable. This was Greatness in the true sense of the word. Let the memory sink in now, because it doesn't happen very often.

Giroux should have flicked off his helmet on the breakaway, to have the hair straight out behind him.

You know what the really sick thing is though? It wasn't Giroux's best game. He had a lot of passes / opportunities to shoot / turnovers that I'm sure he wishes he had back.

Don't get me wrong, he clearly played great, but it's kind of sick when someone has a 4 pt night, yet he had so many opportunities for even more... that's when you know you've got a special player on your hands, when he makes a 4 pt night look rather effortless and pedestrian.

Claude Giroux is a f***ing beast!!!

I like how this year we actually win games after breaks longer than 3 days. They might not always be the prettiest, but a wins a win

Tim Tebow isn't Claude Giroux, but who do you think Tebow is praying to when he kneels down?

I know what you're saying, but I almost couldn't disagree more.

Maybe it was just me, but this performance was a revelation. It wasn't just the points he did or didn't convert. I saw a player's "6th sense" become obvious tonight. Even in the first period, I felt like Giroux was two steps ahead of everyone else with his vision of the play. I actually think it took Hartnell and Jagr a period just to catch up with how far ahead Giroux was.

Nothing post-game has been mentioned yet but when it does, we'll post it here.

Sam @ the Philadelphia Inquirer thinks it is virus-related.
