Leblanc should be sent down if he's only going to get 4 min. Also, i always liked Vermette, but didn't know he was somewhat physical. He'd look great in bleu-blanc-rouge.

I don't know if hip should be a word used with a Skyrim reference.

AK once again gets no love...

He now has 8 goals in 18 games. That's a 36 goals season pace.

And people don't want to keep him? Year after year he gets more than 20 goals and is the only skilled forward who can actually finish plays.

loved it when he got a stick to face at end of game. he got up and just nailed him against the boards. We will continue to struggle until the defence is straight away. Weber is bad. and the power play starts to produced.

So going by what we saw earlier.

Gauthier estimation : 3 weeks
After surgery : 6 weeks
Reality : Out for the season.

no AK or Eller in the SO...ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. Forget the rest of the game. When we NEED these two points, how do you not put our BEST GOAL SCORER in the shootout. Patches can score but rarely off a breakaway move and not really a shootout guy. I am amazed that Gio ever scores in the SO.

Andrei Kostitsyn. He is your best chance.

If you are gonna get guys who won't deke : Cammalleri. He's your best "shot"

This is where i really get p'd with JM. Watch us miss the POs by 1 point (obviously that's being optimistic).
He should have to explain why he didn't put AK in. It should be automatic.

He went with guys who played with Sanford and your captain. Not a whole lot to get bent over about.

How about my boy emelin? We knew this guy can hit, but this is crazy, this is art, he is amazing!!!!

Emelin, Price, and AK tonight, the rest sucked big time.

PS. Did Martin inherit the suit he was wearing tonight from his father, he makes millions and can't buy a decent suit. What a redneck...

Yes, actually it IS. If it was the first SO we lost or the second, or the third, maybe not. But when Andrei Kostitsyn scored IN THAT GAME, was one of the best forwards and you don't put him in the SO, that is shooting yourself in the foot. DD is ok, but nothing great in shootouts. I love the guy, but I'm not pinning my hopes on him on a breakaway. IF he "knows" where Sanford is going to go, isn't the opposite true too? In fact, Sanford has the advantage there. Add that it was obvious that there was no deke coming. Even with Patches, I knew it was going to be a shot. Price always gets beat by insane dekes. We haven't had those since Kovy and Saku. And plz, there is no reason to start your captain in a shootout. Yes, Gio scored the tying goal, yes he's decent % -wise in SOs, but again, put him above DD, as long as AK gets to shoot. FTM I would put Cammy and AK above everyone else. Then go by who has had beer with Sanford or who has a letter on their chest. Nash shouldn't have even had to try. It should have been awarded to him by default. those guys don't miss or at the very least THAT's WHO YOU PUT IN.

These points matter. It's a huge executive decision that has consequences. We keep putting up a terrible SO roster and losing. It's not a coincidence.

Love it!

Fire everyone, get more scouts.

Plus, with Gauthier gone, we can keep our second round picks and put those scouts' work to good use!

Seriously... I've been really patient but I'm starting to wish for some shake-ups. Coaching changes wouldn't hurt. If we are going to lose, it would be nice to lose with a fun system to watch, I suppose.

I'm glad Emelin is finally coming out of his shell. Be patient and you shall be rewarded! Same goes to Diaz and Weber.

went to the game. crowd was mute.. nothing to cheer for

cammy is soft. Not sure why patches wasn't reunited with cole and dd

emelin is a stud .. finally a D that can hit !

all in all - Emelin hits were the best part of the night.

Why didn't we keep Sanford already? He would've been awesome as a backup.

Crapshoot. Cammy and AK could have missed just as easily and we have no one close to Nash's stickhandling talents.

They need to start getting him the puck in full stride. Although it seems to be a problem with the whole team, too many times I see two forwards standing at the blueline while the other one attempts to carry the puck in, or they dump and chase with no speed.
