Oh great.

Typical Pats fan.

You know who deserves some respect? HATW and Marty, for sticking it out with some of the worst pro football franchises of the past half decade.

I'm a fan of no team. Nor am I a football guy. I just like Brady.

But, if I had to pick, it's always between the pats or the Saints.

Hey, we weren't in the worst few WE had that one year... well, no, okay, but we had that streak of, like, four plays in 08...

oh god why.

Always? Or since '01 for the Patriots (UNDESERVED WIN) and '09 for the Saints?

Patriots for Brady, Saints for their version of Quebecs "Fleur de Lys"

Must you guys question or criticize every single one of my posts? Can't just let me have one post without getting quoted and trashed on ehh?

This was a reasonable answer. I don't follow or normally watch football. I wouldn't know.

There's nothing wrong with being a bandwagon fan Omni, there is no "wrong" team to support (other than the Titans or Jaguars).

The only reason I would ever criticize a bandwagoner is when they act like they were diehard fans all along when that team has success.

...so, since '01. Exactly.

It's not every single post, don't blow it out of proportion. Saying you're a Pats/Saints fan is like saying you're a Penguins/Blackhawks fan. It may be true, and you may have been a fan for a LONG time. But most aren't, and since you say you're not a football guy, you can see why we'd come to that conclusion.

Exactly.

It pisses me off for EVERY championship when I see the giant surge in fan numbers for the championship teams. See the LA Kings.

[removed context to not get an infraction.] football games no longer on my TV. Nice going

Me liking Brady "even if it would be since '01" would be normal. Star player, new attraction, gets new fans on their team. Want me to apologize for liking the Saints too?

That's like me saying the new Sens fans of today like them just because Karlsson is in the team. Or even better, Being a Penguins fan because a new amazing stud in Crosby has joined the team. A player everyone can look up to, being an attraction to bring it new fans.

If I were to start watching NFL official today, for the lockout, I eventually have to go for a team, it's wrong to go for one of those teams? Unless it's one of your teams of course

That is the last of Football I will speak of tonight.

It's like Manked said -- nothing wrong with being a bandwagoner. I'll never fault someone for liking any team, ever -- popular or not, it doesn't matter. What's irritating is those who say they've been there all along, through thick and thin. To use your Crosby example, a fan who joined the Pens fanbase because of Crosby is fine. A fan who says they've followed the team since the very beginning but doesn't know who "Mario what's-his-face" is, is infuriating.

You're making your Pats allegiance clear, which is great. More power to ya for being honest. I'm not slamming you for it, which is why your tone is kind of confusing to me.

I have a feeling the play at the end of the Packers Seahawks game will get named and live on just like The Immaculate Reception, Holy Roller, The Tuck Rule Game, etc.

I'm a big-time Packers guy, but I'm trying to stay unbiased with all of this: The replacement refs are beyond bad. As a fan, I'm insulted that we're in week 3 and we still have to put up with this. Preseason was one thing, this is another altogether. I'm not watching Playoff football with replacement refs, period. They had better get something figured out, and soon.

I agree, it will be called "The Replacement Ref" game, and it should be used as a catalyst to get the regular refs back. This game should be seen as the turning point in the labor negotiations, I can't imagine this weekend could have gone any better for the regular Ref's negotiating power: a horrible weekend, capped off with that turd of a game. For Packers fans AND Seahawks fans, that was one hell of an un-watchable garbage game. I not only think the Refs cost the Packers the game, but I also think that the Seahawks were the victims of some pretty brutal-ass calls as well.

Manked and I have been listening to radio with angry fans calling in for the past 90 minutes. Hilarious.

What a crazy, crazy night for the NFL.
