i have 250 vcash on both the orioles and cards tonight. Dont have to explain yankee hate, and though i do enjoy watching the montreal expos of washington, this whole strasburg thing has rubbed me the wrong way.
I'm not comparing the Packers to the CBJ, I'm making a point.
I'm saying that who wins in one game doesn't determine who the better team is. Which is true.
Oh, I agree.
My point was that it's not a logically sound argument to declare that the team that is currently embarrassing your favorite team "sucks", unless your team also happens to suck. It puts you in a bad hole, argumentatively speaking. Given the context, it just comes off sounding like a coping mechanism to the untamed, brutal thrashing your team is taking at the hands of a team that has won a Lombardi Trophy in the past 20 months.
I'm sure you understand, I'm only pointing this out because you used to be unbeaten, and yet your premiere defence (admittedly sans Cushing) let A-Rod & Co hang 42 points on the "visitors" side of the ledger on the Texan's own scoreboard. Usually, and especially in the NFL, teams that "suck" don't beat previously undefeated teams when they're on the road, especially midway through the season.
Texans are a good team, and I'm glad the Packers were able to get their offense sorted out for this game. It was a big win, especially considering the mental funk they seemed to be in since the Seattle "Replacement Ref" debacle.
Oh, I forgot to air out my frustrations with the Eagles today.
****ing worst O-line in the NFL. Hands down. Team name should be the "Turnovers". Haven't played a single game like the "Super Bowl caliber" team that analysts keep throwing out. I'm getting tired of Andy Reid.
