Video of Rattie's hat trick the other night final goal is the shorthanded OT winner. That release he has ... just exceptionally quick and accurate. So impressive.

The short handed goal is sweet. Great move and shot.

Rattie with yet another late tie-breaking GWG to put Portland up 3-0 in the series.

For me, in less than a year Ty Rattie has gone from "who?", to nice trade bait, to probably should hold on to this guy, to yup let's hold on to this guy and see where he goes.

For the season, or just the playoffs?

Rattie gets the primary assist on the 3d period comeback GWG to advance to the WHL Finals in a sweep over Tri-City. There were over 100 shots on goal in this game, with Portland outshooting Tri-City 61-40.

Rattie extends his points lead with 17 goals, 12 assists, 29 points, +13. Combined for season, 84 games, 74G, 76A, 150pts, +36.

Apparently Ratte got drilled in Game 1 of the WHL Finals, hit his head, and had to be helped off the ice. Probably a concussion and he had a head injury earlier this year.

Just adds to our wonderful night.

He definitely looked a little wobbly. I'd guess a concussion as well.

Edmonton Journal Article

Seems like he will be fine to play in game 3 and it was only protocol keeping him out last night. Good to see them being so cautious as well.

Ty Rattie scored his 19th Goal of the Playoffs tonight typing Portland's playoff season record for Goals with Dan Woodley (19 games 1986-87).

Hopefully Portland can win Saturday and Sunday or Edmonton advances to the Memorial Cup final four.

Whenever his season ends I expect him to sign his ELC.
