I want to see 60 solid minutes of effort. Consistent, dominant, hard forechecking pressure that characterized the 3rd period vs. FLA. And clear the damn zone with purpose. Vokoun with no softies. Do those things and I expect of 5-1 win.

So Hamrlik and Semin are game time decisions, but Caps don't have an extra forward in Ottawa (at least not officially or at practice from the reports), so sure sounds like Semin is playing tonight.

Reports are Vokoun will start (no surprise)

Don't care about the score, just win, get some momentum going and at least get back ahead of Winnipeg for cryin' out loud.

Caps lines should look like this tonight:

8 - 19 - 28

20 - 90 - 15

25 - 21 - 42

50 - 85 - 22

27 - 74

4 - 6

55 - 81 (Hamrlik is a possibility, lets hope he doesn't play)

29 in net

Knuble on the fourth line....why? why?

Why not try Eakin, Mojo and Chimera on the same line? That line would be a blur. Just not feeling the 20-90-15 line.

Ah nvm, me suggesting line combos is a joke.

Because that Knuble line scored two goals last game.

No...it didn't. Knuble scored while playing with Mojo and Eakin.

Eakin scored while playing with 85 and 22.

As an aside, why not play Knuble with better players instead of Halpern? Not seeing the vision here.

Wheee!

Getting used to the idea that this will be an out-of-conference game next season.

I'm not going to miss those extra two games each against a single one of the Northeast Division teams.

Anyone got the Caps lineup (outside of the numbers, I'm too lazy to go look every up ) so that I can input them into the Sens board GDT?

Thanks in advance!

Will Ovechkin score?

Probably not, but we'll all watch him try anyways

58 minutes they played in that game would be my vote for their best gameplay this season.
