As for #2, that can be said of any asset acquired in any trade. From LA's perspective, they gave up two significant pieces and, at the moment, have nothing to show for it. That's all.

Wayne Simmonds is still 23 and could become a 2nd line winger. He has been playing like one recentely. On pace for 20-25 goals this year. Thats a significant piece. Brayden Schenn is still highly regarded as a top notch talent. The Flyers got a good return for Richy and The Kings got a good piece in Richards. Also we have a 2nd rounder also. I know we haven't had all that much developing d-man, but what if that pick becomes a stud in 3 or 4 years? There is so much that hasn't happened yet to say what is fair in dealing with the Richy Trade.

I was listening to Ottawa sports radio and they are talking about a Gonchar or Kuba for Schenn deal. Like really, give up a top 5 talent for overpaid bums who are barely able to play on a **** team. Now Schenn + for Weber.....that I do.

Exactly why I said nothing has been proven. It's December in the first year after the trade, nobody has won anything. Richards was playing great, now he's injured. Simmonds runs hot and cold and he inadvertently took out the best Flyer. Schenn had a quiet camp and has been injured ever since. The pick could end up good or a bust.

One of my friends is a groomer and I would go crazy with that job. You've got biters, barkers, scared dogs, aggressive dogs and the worst is when she's partway through grooming and one of the owners peeks in the door and sends the dog in a frenzy. I would never groom a dog by myself if it was a dog with hair, not fur, because it's not easy at all.

Or maybe its guys responds differently to concussions. Guys like Brent seabrook since hes just out and his concussion history brought up, already has 3 concussions yet only missede 5 combined games in his last 5 seaons and 13 in the year before that and like Jeremy Roenick lol who will get a mullion concussions yet still seem to be relatively the same. Then theres guys like Crosby and Lindros who are screwed after thy get hit the first time. Lets hope they are both the latter. I just want giroux back and healthy right now

i heard (and this is all hearsay) schenn plus a high pick and possibly bob for weber, but i hear trade rumors all day long so i dismiss them as quickly as they enter my ear canal. people get crazy when we could make a trade and come up with all sorts of stuff!
