For like 30 years Montreal would destroy Vancouver, especially at the Pacific Coliseum. The tide started changing when the WCE days came for Vancouver, for most of the 2000s, Vancouver has won the majority of the games.

Although, I believe Montreal has won the last 3 of 4 (although the one loss was an absolute clobbering which unfortunately I had the (dis)pleasure to attend personally).

I absolutely loathe Vancouver growing up there and being raised a Habs fan. Mostly because of all my fairweather hockey fan friends and the garbage I would hear on TV and on the radio about the Canucks on a daily basis. They are probably my most hated team, and was actually cheering for Boston (blasphemy, I know) to win last spring. When the Habs beat the Canucks, I am happy as a little boy, when they lose to them I get pissed off the most out of any other game of the season (although it isn't as bad anymore because I don't get ragged on by my friends anymore).

Miss them both....
When players get traded twice fast, they wake up.

It brings home the reality that the next step is out of the NHL.

I lived in Vancouver for a year when I was a kid and the Canucks were new.

Sometimes I think of my good Vancouver memories and then realize that there weren't any.

I used to love the Canucks when Pavel Bure was there, I even own the yellow and black skate jersey with his name on it.

I wish we still had Lapierre and Higgins and it ssssssucks that we got NOTHING back for those guys. Nothing at all!

Snot Gomez : Montreal Canadiens GP 13 G 0 A 4 PTS 4 PIM 4 -3 Salary this season $7,500,000
Tom Pyatt : Tampa Bay Lightning GP 22 G 2 A 1 PTS 3 PIM 2 -6 Salary this season $525,000

(NOTE: I am not, by ANY means, saying we should have kept Pyatt... just saying... that's all)

This pretty much encapsulates my perspective on the Canucks. It is even worse when you are living in Vancouver .

They're gonna win tonight and suck ass vs the devils saturday.

So predictable and boring. Please habs, prove me wrong. Win 2 freaking games in a row at least.

Are my expectations too high?
