Ottawa's Upcoming Schedule

It was pointed out to me that Ottawa's got a very tough schedule coming up. Not just in the teams that it faces but in the fact that we're in part of a 3 in 4, which goes into another 3 in 4, which goes into another 3 in 4.

Washington 7th, Jersey 8th, Vancouver 10th.

Buffalo 13th, Boston 14th, Pittsburgh 16th.

Buffalo 20th, Florida 22nd, Carolina 23rd.

Ouch.

Realistic expectations coming out of this brutal next few weeks?

Also perusing the schedule further we have a lot of back to back games.

Tough month. Schedule maker should be drawn and quartered not because of the toughness just the number of back-to-back games.

A 0.500 record would be a pretty good result.

The commentaters kept mentioning how tired the players seemed to be in the third period for the last couple of road games .

When they got back, no time to rest, they have a heavy schedule incuding the back to backs.

Maybe the coach is going to have to ease back on working them so hard in practice; on Tuesday they reportedly were skated hard.

I know the coach wants to keep their conditining up, but with this many games they may need a break more.
