Having criticized Zetterberg more than anyone else, I have to admit that he looks good this game, and have been a little better the last few games too

As good a period as I've ever seen. Amazing.

Phoenix were horrible though, genuinely looks like they don't care.

Kindl an assist, +1, and 7:02 TOI (2nd on team). Way to go Jakub!

Yeah, this first reminds me of the start in Game 2 of last year's series and the Coyotes ended up making it interesting at the end.

This Coyote team tonight looks neutered...every time I compliment them, they usually lay an egg.

Wings are wasting all of their goals tonight. Now they wont score any goals for the next five games. Save some for the rest of the season.

He's pretty even in my opinion. Often he will note when a penalty called on the other team is weak. He likes hims team, but imo, a homer is someone who is unfairly biased to his team which I've never seen from him.

More from Ken than Mike.

Keith Yandle really is a good d-man, you would never know it watching him play the Wings

Um I gotta say if there's a color announcer in the league who's not homerish, he's not doing his job correctly.

Reading comprehension. I said too homerish. I expect all local announcers to have some homerism. But regardless. Let's quick bickering and enjoy the 5-0 game

Your home broadcast should have a homer element to it. Mickey and Ken also point out things that are not in the other teams favor. But they are there to get you as a Wings fan excited too.

It is much worse watching Eddie O do Hawks games on a National telecast.
