Sure, scoring and leading are not mutually exclusive. But one without the other is pretty unimpressive.

Just my opinion.

trust me, kovalchuk will heat up just like last year in the 2nd half. And I know you also believe that he wasn't just "padding his stats" in that time.

Just forgot though, and this works in our favor.

We haven't lost to the same team twice this season yet. Of all the teams we played twice so far this season LA, Car, Toronto, Isles, Caps am I missing any? We haven't lost twice to the same team. Beat LA, and Car twice, lost the first to Toronto, and won the second, Beat the Isles first, and lost the next day, and Lost to the Caps once, and beat them the next night. After Montreal the next few teams we got we've played already.

Oh yeah add Winnipeg, and Philly. Lost to Philly opening night at home, beat Philly the next game in a shootout, and beat Winnipeg at home first game, and lost the next game in Winnipeg.

Philly, Toronto, Isles, and Caps we all lost to at home, but beat in their home.

Based on the post game, they were sleeping in the first period so regardless of the third goal or not Parise made it seem they needed a spark/wake up call and Marty getting pulled was a hint for them to get their **** together

It took until after the third goal but it seems Marty was pulled to wake the team up a bit

so yeah suck on that Kovalchuk haters, the guy is going to put up the same amount of points as he did in Atlanta because he finally is playing with good linemates.

Kovy is morphing from a Pure-Goal Scorer to an Outstanding All-Around player.

Honestly, this win has me excited to go to the game on saturday.

And really NHL.com. Devils come back from 3 down, take a lead, lose the lead with 5 seconds, play 5-on-5 in OT and win in a shootout and you don't have a single thing about them on the site?

The biggest difference is the way they play in front of Moose. Yes Moose did a great Job but he also had more help.

However, I am sure I will get you are bias and no nothing treatment but that's okay.

Edit: At least BG thought it was a dumb move and one person is all I need. lol
Saw DeBORE's Presser and he said he pulled Marty to "deliver a message" to the Devils that they were playing crappy and to get their azzes in gear.

(well maybe not those EXACT words but the gist of it was very much that....)

I really appreciate the effort this team put in tonight to rescue a shootout victory from the jaws of a (legitimateyou****ing*******reftards****head****** *******bags) regulation win.

EDIT: seriously? Kovalchuk has a good game and is on a streak and one of you has to call the non-believers "haters"? Come on. He's playing well...doesn't mean it needs to be rubbed in the faces of your fanbase

Pull that on the main board where there are plenty of people who want Kovalchuk to fail so the Devils fail.

They're on a hot streak right now, which is great. Ride them until they cool off. But I don't want them to stubbornly stick with that line after it stops working. When Zajac comes back we have more options, so they shouldn't be scared of splitting it up for the purposes of depth.

In all fairness they didn't start off exactly pretty together

They've been hot as hell as of late and I'm happily eating crow because I was not a fan of the line to begin with

Yea I agree, as I've stated in the past, I would like to see Kovy/Zajac and Parise/Henrique

Obviously like you said we ride the top line right now until it dies off and then make the necessary adjustments

He is learning well from Lou
But what I am saying is that can't be the answer all the time. What's that say about the goalie in net who did nothing wrong. The team needs to learn to get its **** together. They can't keep hoping for a goalie change. Why didn't the sens change goalies to wake up there team?

Wtf was Marty to do getting knocked over like that. If a Devils player didn't run him over then there wouldnt have been a change. Hopefully, you see were I am coming from.

Oh I absolutely was but they put in goals in 2 straight and the old men were still fine so I said eff it. Leave their punk butts together and let it ride til Zajac gets back.

The D is still a disaster

Accountability from the Captain.

Tom Gulitti

Parise said Winchester's tying goal was his fault because he should've continued after Alfredsson at the pt instead of trying to block shot.

BUT I STILL THINK DEBOER SUCKS!

My feelings on him still stand. Someone mentioned "Where the hell is the ZONE DEFENSE?" and I agree.

And they put it ALL together in the last 4. Just saying.

Now we can all be happy. No sarcasm needed. For now.

DeBoer said Volchenkov had a "a minor hand injury going into the game and he rehurt it."
