Habs record when scoring first? 7-5-4. Worst in the league. PP? Third worst. Record when leading after three? Lost 1 in regulation, 4 in the shootout already. It's broke, so let's fix it. The way I see it, SO losses are ties but they feel like losses. Without the OT loss rule, we're 10-13-4 really. That blows.

those blaming Marting must really not be watching the game...the Habs can't put teams away because their PP is PUTRID!

They GAVE up a shorthanded goal AGAIN tonight, they needed to get another goal on the PP, it would of buried the canucks, but they can't get anything going

Habs have lost at least 6 games by my count as a direct result of their anemic PP.

focus on the fact that we were up 3-0 in this game.

At 3-0

I told my buddy:

" you'll see.... Canucks will come back and win the game "

Too predictable

Agreed This team is far worse and in trouble then Markov not playing

I don't know why I get angry after every game, when I look at it objectively, we have a really ****** team.

The OT was a joke, we looked like a tier 2 team.

I saw it coming with that late Canuck PP opportunity.

Luongo played solid after giving up the third goal and fans were jeering him.

And the Christmas swoon hasn't even hit yet....wait till the end of the December when the Habs are dropping games left and right, putting themselves right out of contention.

They've got to be better than .500 right now if they want to make the playoffs.

For you Price bashers, check out how many goals the Canadiens score in the Shootoout!

Does anybody else think that Geoff Molson is thinking of his bottom line by keeping JM? I mean he does have a 4 year contract. Honestly, who gives a ****ing hockey coach a 4 year contract unless he's actually accomplished something in his career.

Was a good game but no matter how you look at it and even if it's against a good team, you can't lose that kind of lead. Hey, we probably can say that Ottawa also did it today....incredible how we can be satisfied and compare ourselves to Ottawa now....Hope you are reassured by Luongo especially how he rebounded later on....but my bet would be that he's your #2 now. Anyway, good luck.

Only someone with a loser's mentality would see gaining a point in a loss as being positive.

Losing in regulation or OT is still losing.

Nothing wrong with half glass full.

But there will be no light at the end of the tunnel unless this PP fixes itself and Markov is still a month away.

We need help. Now.

I've learned to accept the fact that Montreal does nothing but pass the puck around on the powerplay. But tonight we couldn't even stay in the 'nucks zone on the powerplay AND we allow a shorthanded goal. What an embarassment! I'd be ashamed to walk out of the arena. Aside from that JM should be walking out of the arena with his bags packed. He's got no control over what's going on out there and it shows. Gauthier needs to make moves on the ice and on the bench.

Tough one to swallow. Simple as that, they did everything well for the first and second IMO. I don't know if they were trying to defend the lead or?

Seems like they need some finishers. A lot of opportunities just couldn't put it behind Luongo late.

Saturday has some good news as Spacek is probable for playing against Jersey. It's a matinee though and I don't want to really think about the Philly matinee a couple of weeks back.

I think at the rate the team is going I think it's not the best anymore to say better luck next time as it seems like a re-accruing trend this year shooting ourslelves in the foot late in games.

No, I think it started with the hiring of Gauthier and Martin, the two Senators losers.

Missing key players.

Lars' o-zone penalty was pretty dumb.

I still say PG should have kept Dominic Moore for depth.
Burrows took a blatant dive on that play.
