edit: Big comeback for Miami after being down 18 in the 3rd quarter but they fall short. LeBron made some big plays in the 4th to give Miami the lead but Wade's two bad fouls on Harris and a missed free throw cost them the game.
I'm sure all the talk will be about LeBron passing the ball to Haslem for the wide open shot rather than taking it himself at the end though.
Yep LeBron leads them right back into the game, but will now get criticized for giving it to Haslem wide open instead of jacking up what would have been a contested shot with two guys on him.
Yet earlier in the game you'll hear about how amazing LeBron is to be able to attract two defenders and then find an open man for easy baskets.

At this point LeBron is better off if he doesn't bring his team back when down by double digits in the second half.
Still surprised by Wade's plays though. He usually doesn't make stupid mistakes like that. Devin Harris shoots like 30% from three and he's averaging 9 points per game. If he's going to jack up a three, just let him.
It rubs me the wrong way when people act like superstars are hard done by. Ohh, people are hard of Lebron. Cry me a river...
Criticizing him for his awful performance in the finals or for missing shots late in the game is well deserved. Criticizing him for passing to a wide open teammate at the end of the game after he brought them back is just stupid.
I couldn't care less if people are hard on LeBron, but like Avs said criticizing him for something like that game today is just stupid but we'll be hearing about it no doubt.

If it was Bosh, I'd have no problem with the pass. But Haslem has had a weak jumper all season long, and Lebron was 8/9 so far in the 4th. Dude needs to not be afraid to take the shot, its getting comical.

He had two defenders on him. He isn't afraid to shoot, his first instinct is to pass, people need to start understanding this. You wouldn't call out someone like Chris Paul for thinking pass first because that's the way he thinks, LeBron is the same, his instincts are to distribute the ball, this is a huge part of what makes LeBron such an incredible player.
People love to talk about how amazing it is that a guy with his ability can think pass first, yet something like this happens and suddenly it's the wrong thing for him to do lol. We all know if he jacked that shot with two defenders around him with Haslem wide open and he missed it that all the haters would turn around and instead call him out for jacking up a dumb shot when he had a team mate open, he can't win.
That's true and also fair. He brought a lot of it on himself.
He also better hope he wins the finals MVP and not Wade otherwise they still won't go away.
Even then they still won't go away. Some critics even started last year, he could win several rings in Miami, but until he takes some rag tag team of Washington Generals to the Finals and puts up 100 pts in each game and wins, people won't give him any credit.
Man, Stern must have been real pissed at Wade fouling Kobe in the All Star game, because the Lakers sure have the officials on their side today. Really poor officiating going on.
