Is their every a fair trade in the NBA? It seems like every trade is always one sided.
One team gets a good player and the other just gets scrubs, guys who never meet/met their potential and meaningless draft picks.
NBA trades are so bad.
The whole matching salary crap they have with a ******** of other stipulations really makes trading a difficult thing for GMs. I dunno how other people feel about it but I think the NBA's CBA/cap system is totally messed up and stupid.

It really is. Instead of having a hard cap at a normal amount, they have a soft cap at a pretty low amount, and then a bunch of exceptions to allow teams to go over. The matching salary thing is equally dumb, as it makes ****** players with high salaries quite valuable in the final year of their deals. Take Dallas' plan to get LBJ last year. Erick Dampier and his messed up contract was a huge part of it, no joke. And that still got them Tyson Chandler, who was an integral part of their championship win(Would've also gotten them Al Jefferson, had they wanted him). Just a very, very weird system.

It is. Why even have a cap if you could just go over? And championship contenders couldn't care less about the luxury tax anyway.
How many teams are actually under the cap anway? 5? 6?
I'll said before I'll say it again. The lockout solved absolutely nothing. It just put more money in the owners pockets.
Blake Griffen is a overrated, no defense playing, highlight player period. CP3 has bad knees i was scared of them when it looked like the Lakers had traded for him. Caron Butler is a role player, Deandre is like Blake no defense and can basically only dunk and they dont have a very good coach.
That team benefitted from their youth when the season started and most players were out of shape and the teams like the Lakers were working on very little practice time etc. The rest of the league has settled into their systems and players are in shape + i believe teams generally "get up" for the Clips now due to all the hype the NBA was generating for them.
Since this is a general NBA thread, I want to suggest a rule change. If there's one thing that really bothers me about the NBA (besides letting players run as much as they want without dribbling in order to dunk), it's the never ending wave of fouls and time outs at the end of a close game.
To get rid of the fouling, I suggest making all fouls within 2 minutes left of the clock an automatic 2 points plus 2 free throws. That would make fouling potentially cost your team 4 points, as opposed to the worst case now of a 3-point shot. Fouling would stop REAL quick.
As for the time outs, just cut the number per team in half already. At least in hockey you only get ONE time out, so you have to use it wisely. There's too many time outs in basketball, the end of the game is almost unwatchable
