A little "divisional" preview, anyone?

Who knows. Depends on what team shows up.

Cats - 5
Swords - 2

Just no clue about this team right now.

Looking for my first win at the Center this evening and the game count is onto a second hand. Time for the curse of me to be broken. Panthers leave something to be desired at the start after getting a big win in Boston last night, Swords prevail 3-1.

Score early, remain aggressive and hope the Cats are tired from last night and run out of gas in the third. I am guessing we do not see Theodore tonight after being sick this week and then a 40 save shutout last night against the Bruins.

Shut down Weiss and challenge Garrison at the point. We gave Phily too much room to walk in and shoot.

I'm sick of all this doom and gloom around here. Outside of a few unlucky bounces/bad decisions we were the better team. Gerbe snatches that puck, or we get a PP from the Bourdon hit, or Hoff has a little better game and we will. Hartnell getting a goal off a skate etc.

We are a 4-5 game win streak away from being near the top in the Eastern Conference. Remember where we were last year at this point? 4 games left on the home-stand, here's hoping we can take advantage of a tired FLA team.

Sabres win 4-2

Adam and Pommers return to the score sheet.

I'll see none of this, so they'll win. 4-2, Sabres. Stafford had three chances in the third period the other night but only finished one. I say he gets the game-winner halfway through the 3rd.

Weiss
Versteeg

Ennis
Vanek
Stafford
Hecht

It's really weird that Florida is a better team than us right now. Still, I think we win this one. Maybe a big game from big Kass?

Sabres win this one 3-1.

Stafford becomes the latest on the injury list when he sprains his ankle trying to dodge a rabid groundhog that managed to find its way on the ice.

Anyone know if the plan is to keep up Kassian for the rest of the year? He has performed well so far, but I wonder if he gets sent back down once Boyes is ready to go. Shame he loses his NHL spot to a guy like Boyes simply over contract though...

Hello division rivals! Checking in, looks like theodore will sit tonight after a tough work effort last night and sick this week. Clemmensen will be between the pipes for the cats. Also samuelsson was back in the lineup for the first time last night and will prob be on the second line tonight.

Whose starting between the pipes tonight for sabres?

Cheers

If they loose tonight, I may have to lift my "No Drinking for Finals" policy.

A simultaneous 4-5 game losing streak by most teams ahead would also be required for this scenario to come true.

Me not holding breath.

Don't worry, next season the bar for getting into the playoffs is lowered significantly, so sit tight. Yippeeeee, NHL!

Sabres 13, Panthers 2

No wait...

Panthers 4, Sabres 2

Panther's 4th goal goes in off Miller's stick, causing stick to hit Miller's head. Miller injured on the play. Shanny suspends him for 4 games for causing his own injury. "There will be none of THAT in this league", Shanny says.

That is all.

I'm hoping they trade or more likely waive Boyes to make a permanent spot for Kassian
