Before Kabs went to Boston, I would have donated my limbs if it were to make this deal happen. Now, not so sure...

How are "Carey Price" and "Andy" going to spin this into a positive?
Please GEOFF MOLSON, get rid of this guy now before more damage is done!

I suggested a Gomez for Kaberle trade a while back... two years of pain instead of four.
But now we have BOTH !

Damn...I will miss spaceman...too bad he's always injured. Probably the main reason why he was traded...
Honestly guys, yeah he has a bad contract but who knows...maybe our PP will explode??

I have always been a fan of Tomas Kaberle.
Jaroslav Spacek was a really bad signing but he was at the end of his contract...

This can't be the end - this puts Habs over the cap, no? Must be more movement to come.

Lol...Whitesnake...didn't we talk about this last night?Lmao.
Bad move cap wise for the next couple of years. Let's hope he can bring some help on the PP in the short term.
We won't get to see Spacek's beautiful face anymore

The only way this is a good deal is if Kaberle doesn't suck.

What a terrible, terrible terrible move, a soft aging player, with another two years after this, at a cap hit of $4.5 million, Molson has decided to stick with Gauthier, Carolina just shipped out a bad contract, so Rutherford pulled over the eyes of Montreal, not once but twice, first Muller, now this, WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!

Im going to get flamed for this, but I'm not going to hate seeing a pairing of Kaberle and Markov. Thats if:
A. Kaberle starts playing as he did.
B. Markov ever plays again.

I wouldn't panic TOO much over this. Unlike Spacek, Kaberle isn't a 35+ deal; if he's not working out, the Habs can use their economic clout to bury him if they need to. Being a rich team has its privileges.
I'm not entirely convinced as to why this move was made though. "We badly need a PP QB?" I guess Kaberle can fit that bill. Just not sure where he lands at evens.
I love the idea of getting the Kaberle of a few years ago. That would be an outright steal of a deal. But I wouldn't bet on that.
