Seems like Markov is, more or less, out for the year.

I can understand why Montreal did this.

Kaberle might react positively to this deal and be worth the money.
Certainly at the cost of a spacek? Big deal.

Kraperle's play style did not exactly fit in with what Boston did or Carolina. With the Habs he could very well help them stabilize the back end and help them turn it around. They do play a more aggressive offensive style..

At least the GM tried to do something - if Kaberle and Subban can get on the same page, it will be a nice duo for their blue line.

Of course, them crashing and burning is always more enjoyable. Hope he stinks on ice for them.

Someone on the Habs thread said that Kaberle was "visably disgusted" playing for the bruins.

Yeah..he was disgusted all right. Seemed like he enjoyed winning and getting his ring.

Its called Chomedey, Laval......and yes, its has a huge Bruins contigent!!! and....there is not a street or boulevard, in Chomedey my car and my 6ft B's flag did not visit last June!!! I had to change my horn, I blow it from all that honking.....

Even though it is extremely humourous to see them react they way they are reacting....and complete nonsense coming from their mouths.......it is freakn annoying to get any business conducted....you would think its a freakn funeral in this city!!!!!

I'm going to have so much fun with this. It's like an early Xmas gift to us Bruins fans from Montreal

somehow I knew Kaberle would be a Hab someday. **** Montreal really enjoys trading for other teams ufa mistakes. He also had a back loaded contract. That's hillarious

I think this is a horrible deal for Montreal...for all those who keep saying Kaberle is a good fit for Montreal, is Kaberle a good fit for anyone right now, especially with the contract he has? I think he is washed up. Another Canadiens Dman that the Bruins can victimize on the forecheck.

That might be because Kaberle doesn't like playing on a winner. You know all those extra games and all. So he should fit in very well in Montreal.

I have a problem whit that thinking... sometimes not doing nothing is better then doing a useless 4m cap hit move... that move has panic written all over it... asta la vista Pierre.

Check out the thread on the main board. Interesting quote from Carolina's GM re: Kaberle. "I should have known better."

Yes, it is "erased" because the Bruins won the Cup. If Colborne and a couple of picks is the price you pay, you make that swap every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

And the Bruins could certainly afford to lose their picks Because they had Toronto's first (Hamilton) and Minnesota's second (Koko). Doesn't look to me like they made a huge sacrifice in that draft.

Maybe, maybe not. I'm not going to gnash my teeth over every "supposed" trade loss...

He looked horribly disgusted when he handed the cup to Ference on Vancouver ice and said "Here you go Johnny!"

...I'm still sour about that. Plus, how the hell does he get the cup before ANYBODY on that team?
