I'd suggest to try to make the arena feel like home...

You and local friends should bring plenty of Habs Banner. CHristmas Decoration

yep, going with my family and in-laws. Like I said in an other thread about this, my mother in law will be wearing pink habs shirt, with a pink hat and goofy sunlgasses. She thinks going to a hockey game means putting on a ridiculous costume, but whatever. Plus, her habs gear isn't reebok . Anyways, we'll probably be booing the panthers and cheering very loud for the habs.

what do you mean, "Probably" cheer for the Habs?

Be careful of what you'll say next

I started a thread on this a few weeks ago. Yes, I'll be at the New Years Eve game against the Panthers, as I was last year. It's a blast!

There's no 'probably' about plenty of Habs fans showing up. It's definite. It feels exactly like a home game, and Panther fans have let it be known they'll avoid that game because of how much they hate us 'obnoxious' Habs fans.

...as if they wouldn't do the same if the habs had a game like this at home...

Don't worry about it. Floridians might dislike us, but they sure love our hard $ into their economy. They can't afford not to have the snowbirds coming and taking over

After all, guess why they are to be included in our division next year?

when their team is going so well that they have to sell lower section tickets for 25$, they better **** about us cheering for our team on those special games.

^^ i've never seen a full stadium on that game. So yeah you should be fine with buying tickets at the door.

Better than a few years ago where they were allowing people to name their price right?

I don't think they even have a "Sold Out" sign, so even if all tickets are gone, they legally have to let you in

Buy your tickets in advance, you can get some below face value.

Unlike previous two years, theres a day off between games. Might get to see some Habs players on the links

This is where I got my tickets for Florida's game last year and this year:

http://www.ticketliquidator.com/tix/...s-tickets.aspx

They usually deliver within about three or four days. I've bought hockey tickets and Broadway tickets from this site. They're good and trustworthy. Call the 1-800 number and speak to someone -- it's always better than online purchasing and you can ask the person for a coupon discount. Great seats are still available (I'm sitting 8 feet from the Canadiens bench!). Hope to see some of you there.

Last year me and a buddy did this in Florida. We went to the lower bowl in warm ups and just didn't go back up. We ended up having to move a hilarious number of times as people would come and claim their seats and we twice changed our seats to avoid a ticket checking usher, all before the game started.

We ended up almost dead center, behind the benches 2 rows off the ice for the first period and then moved up about 6/7 rows, (probably my favorite place to watch a game) during the intermission when we saw two better seats had been unoccupied all period.

It is probably easier to just walk down 5 minutes into the second period, say you left your ticket at your seat and casually snag one that is obviously available.

Either way they are strict enough it's a pretty juvenile move
