Bryz looked like he was flexing his knee a bit..? I think he is ok.

Giroux was probably (at least I really really hope) just a precaution.

Okay... lol

I really hope Giroux is okay though! Wonder when we will hear something.
Probably not until tomorrow.

If we are putting things in the best possible light, then I guess the positive for Roo is that it's an obvious injury--a moron could tell he needs to get his head checked out, so hopefully the Flyers doctors won't royally **** this up.

Dunno. I'm not naturally optimistic, but I have an unusually deep, bad feeling about this.

Sigh.

I think the line of thought was: they were up 2 goals going into the third, better to not risk anything and let Giroux sit the rest of this one out.

At least I hope that's the case

Our record when falling behind must be pretty good by now.

Would be nice if we could come out strong in the first period next game though...

good game tonite

Bourdon and Marshall have impressed and surprised me. Overall good game. i second that. nice empty netter by harts. giroux had a typical good game, 40 minutes. coutiurer had 3 good scoring chances, darn close. played smart defensively.nice to see carle get a goal works hard. a win v tampa, we will take it.

Me too, TBay feed showed him walking to room and seemed fine. I imagine had to go tp quiet room and a precaution. HBO cameras had to leave room too as per NHL rules.

Jagr should have had at least 4 Pts tonight.

I hope Giroux is ok.

Maybe they can book him on that flight out to Pittsburgh with Pronger. You know, a two-for-one deal.

Gallows humor.

Haha yes. Sean Couturier wasn't working for Jagr tonight lolz.

Luckily he still got 2 points and more importantly, we got the win.

24 pts in 24 games is nothing to sneeze at. He's pretty clearly still one of the best / most dominant players in the NHL. NOBODY can get that puck off his stick in the corners. He's so strong. Jagr is a beast and I definitely want him back next year. It's about more than just his skills though, he's pretty obviously become a leader and an excellent role model for the young guys on this team and he obviously gels perfectly w/ Giroux and Hartnell.

Oh, and Jagr being on this team and succeeding pisses off Penguins fans to no end. Definitely a bonus haha.

What a great signing!!! Possibly the best in Homer's career as GM!
