We're not going to make the playoffs with the way the penalty killing has been. I'd rather have a good pk than a good power play.

Yeah I assumed Wilson would start Gus this game since he won 7-1 last game against caps, guess that would be expecting too much.

I blame Wilson. This team is undisciplined and has a terrible PK and poor defensive play in general. Good coaches always have their teams play good D and disciplined. The leafs are neither. I wont say the F word yet though.

What was Crabb thinking tho on that check tho? the puck was at center ice already... too bad Reimer knocked it into the net, save of the year candidate on the shot.

Bluntly, it's s***. It's just guys showing pathetic positioning. That 5-on-3 was horrid with 3 guys in the corner and both defensemen right in the slot with no one near them.

It's coaching, though, nothing else. The PP is doing better and we're winning games because we have some good clicking offensive lines and some goaltending, but IMO it's clear we don't have the discipline behind the bench.

What's Armstrong doing trying to be a "tough guy" against Semin?

Coming into tonight we had given up the most PP goals in the league, and had the 3rd worst PK%. After tonight we might be last in both categories. We've had roughly the worst PK in the league every year since Wilson took over, so this should be nothing new, really.

I don't know what you blame Crabb for....surely the Capitals player should be responsible for protecting himself. I don't see anything illegal about that hit at all.

It seems like refs dont call penalties anymore unless a stick breaks, or a guy falls down. NO WONDER SO MANY PLAYERS ARE DIVING!

Armstrong gives a guy a love tap after a Caps player RUNS our goalie and dislodges the puck AFTER the whistle. And WE get a penalty?? UNBELIEVABLE!
Then they call a perfectly legal hit by Crabb. What? for being too strong? Leafs never even had a chance to kill that penalty...

Same bro, lost my wallet this afternoon and was counting on a Leafs win to lift the spirits and they come out and play Timbits PP and miss open nets left and right. ****in leafs

Phaneuf abandoned the slot and went to the scrum for no reason. he looked really bad on that goal.

Another year at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to the PK. What a joke.

He was coming after Semin because he took the puck out of Remiers hand. Its understandbale that Armstrong would go after Semin, but I dont get the call. Kessel was slashing the other guy during hte faceoff, and there was no call on both of them. Armstrong's slash is a call. The refs have to be more consistent.

Even if the Leafs make the playoffs. Please don't extend Wilson our PK sucks and it's like 4 headless chickens flopping around the ice.
