If they clicked it would certainly bolster the argument.

Haha this. But we also have to remember Chewy assisted on Pom's winning goal last night iirc. Dude has been pretty solid in his callups, so I don't think putting him with Vanek and Pominville will hurt or hinder the team. While I wouldn't mind Adam between those two again, A-L-K has been our best line in the games they were together. Tough call for Lindy

I'm gonna say give chewy the shot between vanek and pommer. Pommer is solid enough defensively to help him out in the d zone, and maybe having the new blood on the line will help vanek pull his head out of his ass.

Going to be there with my brother who's a Rangers fan. It'd be nice to get a win after losing both last year. Their defense is beat up too with Staal and Sauer out. Got to take advantage of Eminger on the second pair. Good guys prevail 3-2, SO victory.

Buffalo won the second, 1-0. Enroth shutout.

I knew it was going to be Stuart over Whitmore.
As nice as it'd be to give Whitmore a game, he's just not an NHL player.

Yeah whoops, poor clarification. The second one we went to was in New York and we lost 3-2 in OT to an Anisimov.

With a Win tonight the Sabres would move one point ahead of the Leafs which would be good for Second in the Division.

That would mean the Sabres would be one point behind the Bruins for First in the Division. However, Boston has a couple Games in hand.

Does anyone know if Miller is between the pipes tonight...

Looks like I answered my own question.

http://wgr550.com/HAMILTON--Sabres-t...night/11697847

Code:
Jhonas Enroth gets the call in goal tonight. Hes not played as well lately going 2-5-1 with a 2.82 goals against

My prediction:

Rangers - 4
Sabres - 3
OT

Tied by Stafford.
OT goal scored by Richards or maybe Callahan.

Honestly, I've LOVED Chewie in the games he's played here. I thought he's been one of the better forwards on the ice every game. I'd love to see him between Vanek and Pominville.

He's had some good moments, but largely ineffective for most of the game. I do like how he plays with some hustle and plays hard though, I wouldn't mind keeping him up, he's shown he has some nice offensive tools, that pass to Pommy wasn't bad for an AHL'er.

This, however i would keep him up over Ellis given the choice (which isn't something we have had recently).

IMO the easiest way to put lines together would be to throw Chewy between Vanek/Pommer. Its prevents lines from getting taken apart.

Vanek/Chewy/Pommer
Ennis/Roy/Stafford
Adam/Leino/Kassian
Stewart/Ellis/McCormick
This is probably how the game will start, until Lindy starts doing his tricks and juggling.

I assume Leino back from suspension covers Tropp out with injuy.

So does that mean the Colin Stuart recall is because Hecht is indeed out???

edit: Nevermind - checked the injury thread and that's indeed so. Forgive my laziness.

per the injury thread, we'll expect to see:

26-58-29
63-9-21
23-72-54
8-37-Stuart or some rearrangement of that trio

Stuart was assigned #15 during training camp after Leino was assigned #23, which Stuart wore last season.
If he wears #15 tonight, he'll be the first Sabre since Zubrus to do so.
Before Zubrus, it was Dixon Ward and Milan Bartovic.

If he was healthy in camp, he probably would have competed with Ellis for the #13 spot. He's a classic tweener.
