Some really weak penalty calls against the Blues so far.

Smart play by Backes getting Jackman away before Jackman could take a penalty

The Blues might be the slowest team in the league at attacking the offensive zone with the man advantage. They are just painfully slow.

Blues need to keep screening Niemi. Seems like he's not picking up the puck well right now.

EDIT: for those looking for streams, try firstrowsports

DOUBLE EDIT: here's the stream

Tough game! Not a lot of operating room. Blues have to score the next goal.

What I really don't like, is that they rarely carry the puck into the offensive zone, EVEN on the PP. With Perron, Oshie, Steen, Backes and Berglund, they should be able to carry it in, with the man advantage.

It was on Pavelski, not Boyle. Would have been hilarious if he robbed Boyle again though!!

I still think we've got to score another goal soon, to take the pressure off.

They're best play to that effect has been the lollygag it up the ice, then drop it to a trailing Oshie who hits the line with speed while everyone else on both teams is standing around near the blue line play that the Red Wings like to use. But they only use it maybe once or twice a game, and they really don't have anything else that seems to be working.

Everytime the puck enters the zone, there's a minimum of two forwards standing still on the blue line. Every single time.

You can't really back off the defensemen to carry it in when that's happening, nor can you run a soft-dump play where you chip and fetch because everyone is flat-footed on the line. All you really have left is the hard-dump around play, but it's relatively easy to read and defend when there's no other options the defense is being forced to respect.

oops. My bad. Crying baby so I just barely caught the play. I know that the crying got worse when I yelled about the save.
