Nice save, Elliot! The Blues really need to get better at faceoffs-especially in key situations. But, I'll take the 1-0 win.

Another great game for Perron. This kid may develop into a 70 point player.

Great goaltending, and great team defense as well. If the Sharks had more than five or so good scoring chances that game, I sure didn't see them. The Sharks had nothing going all game.

I would love a blowout win or at least a decisive one every once in awhile.

Also, for what it's worth, I think every PP should be running through either Perron, Shattenkirk, or Oshie (with McDonald figuring into that mix as well once he's healthy).

I'm never going to complain about a win, but tonight might have been the most boring hockey game I can remember seeing the Blues play

Completely agree, I do not have a problem with low scoring games but that game was bad.

As fas as the PP is concerned is it just me or does it seem like 1/2 the time we have 4 guys above the face off circles and one guy some what near the net. Also when we have the puck on the side boards the player is always way to high they are always pretty much at the point when they should be near the face off dot.

How quickly they forget! I guess you didn't see any games from 2005-2006 when ancient Scott Young was our best scorer, and the team was filled with NHL castoffs and green rookies and has-beens.

Greetings from a Bruin fan of 40 years. Just wanted to say congrats to you guys on an awesome start to the season. Then again, before we know it, we'll be at the halfway point. Elliot is playing the best of his career and has Halak put on the back burner.

I have always followed the Blues quite a bit. Personally, I think they have an awesome fan base and it always seems loud at your home games.

Just wondering: what were your expectations coming into this season?? Are you surprised that the Blues are one of the hottest teams in the league or Elliot would be number one in goaltender stats. I think he surprised all of us.

Anyway my friends, best of luck rest of the season, see you in the playoffs. Best of health and take care!!

How they are playing now is what was expected of them the last couple years but they had been really streaky and for the most part underperforming. Literally nobody in the world expected this from Elliot.

Thanks I had just forgotten how bad those days were.

Hopefully we never have to suffer through that again

Was at the game, and like others have said, it was a pretty boring game but a W is a W in this league, it doesn't matter how you get them.

I wish people had more common courtesy at the STC.

Was there a lady sitting behind you that would yell 'kick his ass' every time there was a hit and 'what the f' every time a Blues player was hit and talked about random personal things through out the game?

Thats what I had to deal with on Tuesday

I didn't find the game boring. But I like watching good defense as much as good offense.

Does Elliott start again on Thursday? You don't want either goaltender to have to sit too long....but Hitchcock has said guys will get the next start after a shutout.
