I think everyone in the world thinks it's time for a new coach, DL included. He's probably conducting interviews as I write this.

If he's not, he should be working on his resume. AEG can't be happy with their return on investment.

It's obviously a discreet process but most GMs are looking weeks before a firing occurs. I'd like to think he's doing his due diligence but you never know until it happens.

The Kings have the ninth highest payroll and are right at the cap with a payroll a bit over $63.5M. The product on the ice doesn't show that this is a capped out team.

Struggling to remain in a top eight playoff spot, struggling to score, an impotent powerplay unit, and sluggish starts night after night... something has to give and heads have to roll.

I can't stress how happy I am that this is getting (sort of) national attention, since our local writers, who I usually really enjoy (and who post here--thank you for what you do), are holding back for whatever reason.

I posted an article up today that he should be gone. Was holding back, you're right. Last night was just too much man. And those post game comments pissed me the hell off.

This comment particularly

(on the pressure being put on the Kings’ goalies…)
MURRAY: “I hope they’re able to deal with it. Their job is to stop the puck. We gave up 27 shots or so tonight. Their job is to stop the puck, and hopefully we can take care of business at the other end. The two goals tonight, the one on the power play I didn’t like. We got beat inside. Our defenseman got beat. That’s a no-no. You just can’t give up that kind of a play at your net, off that read. But the goalies, I hope they’re dealing with it fine, and it looks like they are. They’re competing and battling, and they come the next day ready to work again. We just have to get things taken care of on the offensive side.’’

Yea and your job is to employ a system that doesn't suck balls. Seems like they are doing their job the best they can. Are you?
