Psh, make her do all of that.

Try getting a wedding all set up in less than 3 months because you're importing a Canadian.

I couldn't imagine setting this up in three months.

I'm listeing to NHL Live on NHL Network and they just had the Hawks GM on, he says tomorrow night is a great night to kickstart the old Min-Chi rivalry from the North Stars days.

Neat.

Is Kiovu injured? This is from Russo's blog at startribune.com:

Quote:
It was Koivu who hit Marco Scandella with the breakout pass that led to Scandella's scoring chance. Koivu looks fine as he's slapping his stick on the ice in the slot looking for a pass from Scandella as he circled the back of the net. After Dany Heatley's rebound, Marian Hossa takes off on a 2-on-1 with Nick Leddy.

As Koivu's chasing it down, he clearly pulls up with some kind of leg injury around center ice right after being slightly grazed by Patrick Sharp. Koivu looked like he was feeling something right before though. Koivu skates to the corner, collides again with Hossa and you can see he's in real discomfort as he drags himself to the bench.
Hopefully nothing too serious. We can't afford to have another top 6 six player injured.

He played the whole game, so I doubt it's anything serious. If he's out this is not going to be good.

That's because he didn't get hurt until his last shift of OT though.

According to Russo, Koivu was injured in his last shift of the OT. That's probably why he wasn't in the shootout.

edit: slow

Is this the third year in a row we're up there in man games lost?

According to Russo, we've lost 117 man games this year while Chicago has only lost 21.

The Wild's lost 117 man games to injury. To put that in perspective, Chicago's lost 21.
This caught my attention. They aren't "unimportant" man games either.

Is there anywhere that we can find the # of man games lost for each team?

So, this is an interesting little tidbit. I just looked, and of all the playoff teams in the league right now, we are the team that has played the most games at 32. Only Ottawa and Carolina have also played 32, and no one in the league has played more.

Gillies might be injured. What the ****.

Russo's live chat:

Quote:
Yeo just wants to see the Gillies he grew to know last year in Houston, and it's the type of Gillies that wasn't shown the last few weeks. I think Gillies is just having a very natural adjustment from being a go-to guy in Houston to being a fourth-line guy here. But last night was the first time in a long time where I saw a guy flying, being physical, being responsible defensively. He was a mess in LA, a mess in Phoenix, where he just wasn't making smart decisions. Last night, he was very good. Now, let's hope he's healthy because he took a nasty gash to his leg from a skate blade and was having trouble walking after the game.

Even the hockey gods are against the Wild, injuries, reffing, other teams, curses, and everything in between.

But still the Yeo and the TEAM PREVAIL!

Misewell just call them the Minnesota Aeros. Half the team is already up here.

Isn't it amazing how even though we have their whole team they're still in first too? System at work.

I'm curious where Chicago would be with 117 key man games lost.

Not sure they run as tight of a defensive game, and their goaltending definitely wouldn't hold up.

No. The NHL deliberately does not publish it. Certain teams do share it though.
