Oh great we get to hear about how he has major character issues now.
But if you'd go back in time 24 hours we'd all say the opposite. In fact, everything I've seen and heard from Bunz points to him being an great kid with one hell of a head on his shoulders.
We just have to remember that he is just that, a kid. Who's capable of making mistakes. Stupid stupid stupid mistakes.
Kyle Bigos scored a powerplay goal in a 4-2 loss to highly ranked Boston U. That gives him a 4 game point streak (4gp, 1g, 3a, 4pts). Not bad from someone who wasnt supposed to have a good head for offense when he was drafted.
The goal was a good one. The Merrimack powerplay moved around well to get Bigos some room for a shot. When the one time pass came his way, he faked it before walking into the slot to change the angle and putting a wrister high blocker. Good goal, and good decision not to just take the easy shot. Showed some instincts.
Kellen Jones was held pointless in Quinnipacs game against Yale, but registered 4 shots and an even rating.
If Kyle Bigos' 4gm point streak wasnt enough, Dillon Simpson of UND just reached his own 4gm point streak (0-5-5) capped off with a two assist game tonight. Simpson also has 10 points in his last 10 games. He now sits 6th on his team in points.
UND is sitting 19th in the country, primarily due to their unbelieveably slow start
They are in a decent spot now, but ya, you are right, it is very tight. This should solidify their team though and make a big contribution to making the playoffs.
Good for him. PG just doesn't have the offense without Connolly. The points should be coming regularly now.
Sucks for me since i wont be able to watch him anymore, but if they can go on a good playoff run, it will be good for his development and for the Oilers in the future, so its probably better for him to be out of PG. And PG gets a 1st, 2nd and 5th plus a dman for him, so it could end up a win-win for both teams.
Hope he plays in OKC next year too.
Oh, and for everyone's info, even though he started the year off slow, he has been playing quite a bit better in the past month or so.
Great game for the Oil Kings tonight with a 6-2 in Medicine Hat, an arena where they've never won before.
Gernat is still out with Injury, and unfortunately as the score suggests it was a bad night for Bunz who let in 5 goals on 30 shots and was on the bench to start the third, but hey, the Oil Kings are a great team.
And as always, my favourite undrafted shorty Dylan Wruck had a great game with 2 goals and 1 assist. Draft him Oilers, he's worth a shot.
I will go an watch some Oil King's playoff games that is for sure.
You should try to make it to a regular season game too. If you're bored some night when they're playing, good seats are cheap, and they are a fun team to watch.

A great idea for anyone. The cheap 15 dollar seats are still really good, and it is never sold out so you can always move down as far as you want, or even move to the side to get a better view... the ushers truly do not care. I've been to about 6 games this season, and when I don't, I almost always listen to the game on 1260. It's great to follow a winning team for once in a good long while.

yeah there are usually a few rows open at the exec terrace. I've never purchased a ticket up there for an OK game apart from the teddy bear toss, which was expected to have around 10k people. I'm sure you could, although I haven't got a clue what it would cost (teddy bear toss tickets were all $10, so I'm unsure of what the regular price would be).
Fedun will apparently be on the ice for the first time in the next few days, his first tentative steps in his comeback. He’s been walking without crutches or a boot for a long while since crashing into the boards on Sept. 30, and has watched games from the pressbox. He’s been taking daily, gruelling rehab early in the mornings while trying to keep his spirits up, but it’s a long grind. Hopefully he’ll be ready by next fall’s training camp.
Fedun's recovery, expected to span between nine months and a year, was a result of this icing race.
