Casey Wellman with 2 goals and an assist today in 5-3 win over the Admirals. I'd like to see him called up sooner rather than later.
EDIT: Meant the Monarchs, not Admirals.

Good to see them bounce back after the loss last night.
Missed this game because of work, bummer.

Looks like a New England Whalers jersey from Saturday night's warm ups when they were honoring Gernander, Leetch, Verbeek, Liut and a few others.

Sick threads, I'd only get a jersey if they were available with current Whale players (Owens maybe) with the same Whale stitching on the shoulder there.

They would be pretty sick alternate/throwbacks for the Whale, I gotta say. And I hate the Whalers. Of course, Wolf Pack jerseys would be sick "throwbacks" too.

Can't believe they couldn't trade him to a playoff bubble team needing shoot out help?

Quickly from tonight's game: Whale win 3-2, take over first place in the division (although Bridgeport has a game in hand). Chad Johnson looked great. He seemed to be seeing everything really well and kept the Whale in the game when they couldn't get it together. Lots of defensemen out of position and so on. Bell and Nightingale were brutal together. One was always out of position it seemed.
Lines started with Deveaux/Newbury/JAM on the top line, but Gernander swapped Wellman with Deveaux and the line scored three goals. Three points for Wellman.

Are there any forwards that look like they might be ready for a promotion next year?

Forwards? Wellman and JAM (if they sign him). This team is not exactly stocked with NHL prospects.

XL Center is EMPTY right now. Haven't been to a Sunday afternoon game yet this season, so I don't know if it's always like this, but it's pretty bad.

Weak crowds all weekend and today is a 3 p.m. start on a 70 degree day in MARCH. That's why I didn't go! Took a ride to the shore with my family.

Game of Tommy Grant's life!
But seriously, the Whale are going to need that kind of secondary production if they want to go far in the playoffs. Four point lead in the division having played one more game than Bridgeport. Looking good right now.
I can't wait to see how much Andrew Yogan has improved when he arrives this week. He was decent enough last year.

I will never not love Sean Avery, even if I don't think there is room for him on the Rangers
