That is even the Boston broadcast. When Boston announcers are saying it is a bad call - it is a bad call. Dorsett barely touched him, looks like Thomas kicked out his leg and Dorsett tried to jump over it. They weren't even in the crease (the possible contact).

This was after Thomas got a huge whack on Umberger earlier in the game (when Lucic got his double minor). Lucic slashes Umberger, Umberger stands in front of Thomas, gets slashed harder, Lucic comes up and cross-checks Umberger (then Umberger seemed to fall down pretty easy). I thought for sure that the penalties would have been the first Lucic one, then the Thomas one, but that wasn't how it worked out.

Ouch! Thats not a pretty sight, horrible to see anyone get injured like that.
Really dodgy call too, he barely touched Thomas!

Canucks fans feel your pain. Refs should be fired for the stuff they are letting go with the Bruins. It's like because they have massive players that the refs find it acceptable that they are allowed to go and bully everyone around and it's good ol' tough hockey. Yeah, right. This officiating is a disgrace to the game and really does fuel the notion that these refs have their own agenda.

The linesman who skated by watching while Daniel took 7 punches in the face and didn't call a penalty should never work another playoff game again. But he will.

But but, there are those good refs that say they know players and know they'll be good *Cough*Neil*Cough*.

The real concern is second impact syndrome.

some combo of: Boll, Byers, MacKenzie, and Letestu

Tyutin - Nikitin
Methot - Wisniewski
Moore - Clitsome

and as someone said, Mason is probably starting.

**** the Bruins! i am not an expert in hockey but that call was just outrageous. This Bruins favoritism is making the NHL integrity questionable. Hope Dorsett will be fine.

Agreed, especially with what we saw with Mitchell and with Crosby. Prime 2nd impact syndrome examples.

You know I was debating this at hockey Saturday night and there was a Bruins fan who just ripped into me...

The body of evidence just seems to not lie. I truly want to believe there is no bias... but that was unreal... if anything Thomas initiated the contact!!

Booth, please heal fast... would love to see you Jan 7th!.

As for the Jackets, they will most likely take this one as Vancouver plays .500 in CBJ.. win one lose one... Like CBJ girl said, depends on Mason really.

Makes me happy whoever wins the SCF this season as long as not the Bruins again. and yes, get well soon, Booth.

Dorsett got REALLY lucky I think.

Quote:
Dorsett does not have any of the three feared injuries given the way his lower left leg was caught awkwardly under his weight as he fell backward to the ice after a collision with Boston goaltender Tim Thomas.
Not a high-ankle sprain. Not a fractured fibula. Not torn knee ligaments.
While not defining a specific injury, Howson announced “good news” via his Twitter feed, saying that Dorsett should be considered “day to day.”
Dorsett is wearing a protective boot and not using crutches.
http://www.bluejacketsxtra.com/conte...as-feared.html

I know hockey players are tough guys, but looking at every team, there are guys that are tougher than others. Watching the Boston game live, it was obvious that Dorsett was in severe pain. He's a guy that voluntarily get punched in the face. For him to react that way, it REALLY hurt.

^Yeah, saw the video and his reaction. Not pretty. When Ballard torqued his knee last year, you could hear him screaming on the broadcast--not a pleasant sound.

Not pretty at all.

Sorta like the Kopitar injury below, but that was obviously his ankle.

Damn I wish this game was tonight, I just realized I agreed to work tommorrow

I keep watching the replay of the Coho hit too, I really hope they don't play him tommorrow. I'm feeling paranoid and worried. I wasn't the biggest fan of him before but that kid has really grown on me this year.
