If Tebow has another comeback, I don't know what I will do.

ESPN headquarters will probably explode if he does.

Jets need to win out + Broncos or Raiders Loss to make playoffs.

Giants need to win out to make playoffs

Both teams can make playoffs even if they lose another.

Not sure on the Jets scenario if they lose but for The Giants they would need a Cowboys week 16 loss + a Eagles week 17 loss to make playoffs.

Who is Wayne Hunter's backup. Seriously I doubt he can be any worse.

Also these announcers are brutal.

Holmes - what the **** man. After making multiple costly mistakes, you're going to pull some childish ******** for a 15yd penalty? **** you.

Sanchez - Start learning how to throw the ball away and not take sacks.

Schotty - Run works. Go away from the run. Rinse and repeat. Also, it's clear that Sanchez is getting no protection and you know that he's good rolling out... why not do it more often?

Hunter - guy is just not on the same level as the opposition. sad, really, but he needs to be replaced.

defense - vick and mccoy not exactly easy to stop, but some terrible play out there. Why Wilson was going inside on vick instead of containing is beyond me.

rex & coaches - again the team is not ready for a quality opponent

Detriot goes 99 yards for a TD in just over a minute, then blocks Oakland 65 yd FG try. Det wins the game by one.

Jets still control their own destiny. Barely.

How do the Raiders or Broncos play a part in the Jets hopes if the Jets win out? Unless this post was made before Oakland lost the game then my apologies.

Who has the tiebreaker if Cincy and the Jets win out? The way I looked at the tiebreakers is it comes down to strength of victory since they didn't play head to head, they would both have the same conference record, and they would have the same record in common games unless I messed up something.

That's what I'm afraid of too- first round exit, coaching staff stays, and we get a lower draft pick. I know it is despicable to root against my own team, but for the sake of the Giants- in the long run I think it would be better if the Jets and Cowboys beat them these next two weeks. Otherwise we have another year of bull **** with Tom Coughlin and his second half collapses and Perry Fewell and his rush-3-guys-on-3rd-and-20-and-still-give-up-the-first-down defense.

That Detroit win hopefully sealed Coughlin and crew's fate.

Rex wants to drive a stake into the Giants so hard it hurts him to think about it.

Philly will bow down to the Cowboys just to stick it to NY.

Giants could close the season on a 1-7 clip.

Later Tom and staff. Thanks for 2007.

Todd Haley for OC, and Spags for DC???

Of course it would be up to whoever the next coach is, but those are 2 incredibly smart coordinators who are motivators as well.

Yes, please.

Wouldn't mind Norv Turner either, if he's fired from SD.

Jets much like the Giants it seems you don't know what team you are going to get.

Eagles have a lot to play for.

Eagles win out + Jets win over Giants and Giants over Cowboys gets them in I'm pretty sure.

As if I needed yet another reason to hate the jets

The next two weeks are going to be wild...let's go GMEN!!

Bengals could have a tricky game next week with the cards...then a real tough one against the ratbirds in week 17

Yup if Philly beats Dallas and Washington they will have an 8-8 overall record with a 5-1 division record, and if the Giants beat Dallas and lose to the Jets they will have an 8-8 overall record but will lose the tiebreaker with Philly because they will have a 3-3 division record.

It's hard to believe after all the crap the Giants have gone through- starting 6-2, then losing 4 straight, then losing to Washington the way they did today- that they still control their own destiny.
