Cody Glass vs Stelio Mattheos

Both Winnipeg-born 17-year-olds in their second WHL season putting up decent draft years. Which of these two players would you take first at the draft and why?

Not a fan of Glass but he's the same size and has 15 more points in the same amount of games. Have heard next to nothing about Matheos. Probably go Glass

Mattheos has fallen off a bit after Patrick got injured.

Mattheos is a better skater and has a better shot. Glass has the higher IQ and better vision. They are both probably a wash defensively. Mattheos may be more of a complimentary player. Put him with good players and he can be successful himself and help them be successful. At this point he can't drive a line by himself. Might be a better winger than a Center.

Are you implying that Patrick is a reason for his production? As I said, haven't heard much at all about him, but that would be worrisome.

No, he's saying that Mattheos does better than usual with Patrick

Well the whole team has been missing Patrick (any team would), but Mattheos and Patrick specifically were tearing it up before he got injured.
