I am not going to complain...oh wait, I am.

Every single game that the Rangers play against a goalie who his debuting, has two games, just called up, this and that; do they ever win? Ever?

I don't understand as to why they play offensively the way they do when something like this happens, they never seem to put the goalie away.

That along with the missed shots just pisses me off.

I got an idea, sit Boyle, maybe Dubes and play Avery. Maybe that will get those guys scoring.

PS. The last bit was a rant, but really, come on. I HATE THESE TYPES OF GAMES!!!!!

lol......that's all I got........hey i'm pissed too but I plan on blaming the lack of offense and Woywitka being a bone head......but hey he will be in the minors when everyone is healthy

Bright side is thats 3 straight games with giving up only 1 Goal.......nyr goals for and against is very solid

Puck back to the point (who is wide open). Point man waits, waits, waits, looks, hesitates, finally decided to shoot it wide. Rinse, repeat. No idea why we chose not to blast away from the point when they were leaving our point men open all game long. That, and a disgustingly unforced completely unnecessary turnover from Woywitka is why we lost, plain and simple. Bad. The decisiveness that's bred success all year for us disappeared tonight.

It sucks.

It sucks to lose.

We'll bounce back.

A win next game will change everything back to how it seemed before tonight's loss.

Look, I'm not a bandwagon type fan. I love when they win, but get annoyed when they lose but also understand you can't win em all.

What upsets me is that every time the Rangers are against a rookie goalie, they can't score and you see such stupid plays happen and the missed shots etc. That just annoyed me.

Same old Rangers? They are 17-7-4. One bad game and they are back to the same old Rangers?

I'm all for Dubi getting a night off and watching a game from up top.

Dubes needs a game off...Avery comes in and score 4 goals.

Dubes has a goal and he needs the fire lit, why make Avery sit...at least over Boyle.

AND......I appreciate and respect every player and don't say "oh, I hate him" cause I never do, but this is another topic.

One of the most boring hockey games i have ever witnessed.. Poor effort at home. Your right you can't wim em all, but you can certainly give a better effort than that. 2 steps forward 1 step back. Great teams don't do that..

Expect over the last few weeks it's been 4-5 steps forward, 1-2 steps back.

Frustrating loss, but we have 5 points in our last 4 games. Not horrible.

A win against the Blues and I forget this game even happened.

They need to simplify things a little in my opinion...

Focus on getting pucks on net & getting bodies driving to the net.

Easier said than done, I guess, and Dallas played pretty tight D, but the offense looked a little too perimeter oriented to me tonight.

No. TONIGHT was same old Rangers. just knowing that they still have the capacity to be that team suggests to me reason to be worried. 17-7-4 means nothing to me in december. If they are playing good like this in feb/march/april consider me sold. until then i've seen this same story played out way too many times in the last couple of years.

Yeah, a rookie goalie got a shutout, stop whining, the game was a stalemate, that's all there is to it. Dallas was good defensively, even though we had over 30 shots, Bachman was good. He wouldn't be in the NHL if there wasn't something there. All it took was the one turnover.

He's not saying that they are the same old Rangers overall -- just that they looked like them tonight. And I think there's something to that: offensively anemic, too much perimeter on the PP, helping to make a backup/rookie goalie (who was admittedly solid) look like Patrick Roy.

It's just one game obviously, but it did hearken back to more frustrating Rangers teams...

Every team has a few bad games. We made Philly look silly. The Penguins sometimes lose to the Isle. These things happen.

Old habits die hard it seems though. There's a difference between having a bad game, and having a bad game the same exact way you've been doing it over and over again for years. Frustrating and concerning. It's frustrating that when I heard Bachman was going to be in net tonight I knew he was getting a shutout.

Made this point in the other thread, but it bears repeating. Every team looks exactly like that on nights where the offense doesn't click.

Hell, Dallas looked like that tonight too.

Good Lord. Rangers didn't play bad at all. Like Torts said post game, "first team to blink loses". Unfortunately we blinked. This Bachman kid wasn't just picked out of a hat with high hopes and Dallas played great D. It happens.

Do people realize that if the Rangers sit Dubinsky and Boyle, it leaves them with 3 centers? One of whom is Erik Christensen? Silly.

Ironic that the two guys that have a one-way ticket out of the lineup once we get healthy (Mitchell and Woywitka) contributed heavily to the play that lost the game.
