A *gasp* move? They had been working towards it from the pilot episode.

Killing his own brother wouldn't make sense at all.

Not doing exactly that is just as valid a plot point.

Also, with a show that has so many real life characters, you have no choice but to kill some of the fictional characters in order to keep the sense of danger. They had to make Nucky go all the way and killing Jimmy was the best way to do it.

As I posted earlier, it actually made alot more sense to kill his brother than to kill Jimmy.

Anyways, I'm still gonna stick with the show, just hoping for a lot more New York and a lot less Nucky playing politics.....

I just can't see him killing his own brother.

You're supposed to ask yourself why he didn't kill his brother.

Hint: It's because he's his brother.

Killing his brother may have made sense to you, but it didn't to the character.

This a good old Irish Catholic family we're talking about. He's not killing his brother. Family means everything to Nucky, it's how he was raised.

Nucky Thompson is the star, he is a politician and it is called Boardwalk because he is based in Atlantic City, yet you are hoping the show will have less of all of that?

Riiiight....

I know exactly what the show is...doesn't mean the stuff around him hasn't been dragging on since the beginning....add in the drag that is Margret and I'll wait for more Chalky/Rothstein/Luciano/Capone...

Let's do this!

Edit Post Episode...

HOLY **** RICHARD HARROW Gotta say, didn't see that one coming.

Lots of stuff going on, this season should be pretty action packed. I also like the way it seems they'll be tying Van Alden back into things.

More of a setup episode, but still a good one. Gyp should certainly be a fun character to watch.

So happy this is back

God damn, I love Harrow but I thought they were going to do a slow boil for him in terms of his reaction. Manny was one of my favorite characters so I'm pissed he's gone, but holy ****, Harrow... He completely stole the episode - well, maybe aside from Cleopatra.

Van Alden in the flower shop was awesome as well.

Decent first ep.

Had a feeling Manny was getting wacked. Especially after I seen Forsythe on those promos for that new Fox show.

NVA needs to go the **** away! I can't stand him.

Harrow's my favorite character. His relationship with Tommy will be interesting to watch unfold.

Unfortunately, without Jimmy, I'm not sure there's anyone with the conflict and charisma to carry the show. I've always found Nucky a little bland, and this new "bad ass" version seems much the same. I'm also finding Margaret's shtick a little tiresome.

I'm not quite sure where this season will go, but for now, I'm going to say the highlights are: Van Alden heading toward a life of crime, Harrow wrecking ****, and Cleopatra's...assets.

Man, the ego on the new guy

I was confused by the whole Nucky-Margaret still together thing but they cleared that up. Harrow got a slow clap from me.

Harrow is awesome. Too bad it had to be Manny getting the dirt nap I liked him. Wish it was Margaret that Harrow would unload on. That new guy gyp won't last the season. Cleopatra chick was hot in a weird way.

So what's the deal with Richard Harrow this season?

Is he solo and just going on a vendetta against Nucky, and his associates. Or does he have a crew with him?
