THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT. BUFF SAYS BYE!

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

This is going to be our toughest game yet. If Pavelec doesn't have a solid game, we may end up on the losing end. Still, I can never ever go against the Jets as that would be blasphemy! 3-2 Jets in OT.

6-3 Jets, really great matchup here as both teams have what I would consider to be underappreciated lineups. Pavelec won't be bad tomorrow, I can gurantee it, and so I think as long as the crowd gets crazy, the offence will flow, and the Jets will soar to a win over their soon to be conference rivals. 6-3 Jets, Wellwood, Kane, Burmistrov, Little, Antropov, Bogosian.

My fantasy league just put a new status update as Antropov DTD (foot) as of yesterday. Did he suffer a setback? He played already, and had his DTD status removed, now he has it again. Am I missing something?

Your league is mental.
He hasnt played since he got hurt.

He played in the Detroit "game" on Saturday.

And Stormrider there has been no word of a set back, I wouldn't worry too much. But the Jets have kept injuries very well ridden, there has been several times where we do not find out about them until the game starts and the player is not dressed

Played 15:18 and was only a -1, but was not very noticeable that's for sure.

Well I did miss the second and third period.
Maybe that is why.

15 minutes is a good chunk of ice time
and "only" -1 after that performance is nto bad

thanks

Well according to my fantasy league again, apparently he was one of the "better" playing Jets against the Wings.

"Mon, Dec 12
Antropov (lower body) made his return in Saturday's 7-1 blowout loss to Detroit, the Winnipeg Sun reports.
Recommendation: Antropov recorded a team-high five shots during his time on the ice, a positive sign even though the Jets got thrashed by the Red Wings.
(Rotowire.com)"

"Sun, Dec 11
C Nik Antropov returned to the lineup against the Red Wings after missing four games with a lower-body injury, but it didn't help much. Antropov still made his presence felt, however, playing more than 15 minutes and leading all skaters with five shots.
(Yahoo! Sports)"

So at least he was taking shots

Apparently Toby is the only one left on IR... Meech and Hainsey are DTD

Wild love to put fans to sleep with their boring play. If the Jets can dictate speed and crowd brings the noise they won't know what hit them.

I expect a big bounce back game in front of the home crowd tonight after Saturday's unfortunate and uncharacteristic performance.

This will be a big test for us. To be honest, i'm pretty excited to play Minnesota tonight given we'll be dancing partners in the same conference next season.

We're definitely going to have our hands full here. The Wild are 10-3-2 on the road (10-4-1 at home) and 8-2 in their last 10 while having won 7 in a row to date.

I'm not so sure that is the truth, is it? Certainly it was when Lemaire was running the show, but are things still a snooze fest under Yeo? I didn't think they were.

Great GDT. Love the new pics.

Why is it no one seems to actually -know- much about the Wild? You ask 10 people on why they are doing so well, you get 10 different answers. Maybe that is the reason? They do everything relatively well?

Looking at stats, and their record, I think it will be very interesting to see of the Jets' speed and home ice energy can beat a solid team that seems to rely on puck control.

I can't remember who said the Wild are a 'boring' team, but I've seen a few times we've faced 'boring' teams that love neutral clogging, grindy games, and if you get them turning around chasing the likes of Kane/Burmi/Little/etc, it could be a fun game.

I'm nervous for the team. But I will be there.... keeping it loud!
