Urbom sitting was a no-brainer. The kid looks promising but he isn't ready for the big league just yet.

Can't wait to see Foster shooting bombs from the point. When was the last time we had someone with a rocket of a shot from the blueline that wasn't a forward?

With the Devils winning, right? If the Devils lose 6-2 in the next ten days, I'm blaming you for not being more specific.

Not me, the Panthers are a pretty speedy team, and I've seen enough people going around him like he's the assistant coach in practice just waving his stick. Let the fetus grow in the AHL.

He had a couple other really bad turnovers besides getting burned, Moose bailed him out for those. Urbom sitting is the correct move.

You can't split up Tallinder-Fayne, they are the default top pairing right now, and they are way too effective together for me to want to screw with that.

I think they'll be fine together. Taormina's defensive issues are overblown, he was a lot better than I remember last night. And Larsson can handle himself. That pairing should be great on breakouts, at the very least.

Get the points. I'll be in the middle of taking a final so I'm going to miss some of the game.

Didn't Deboer split them up yesterday? Well, you're right, Fayne and Urbom didn't exactly light it up yesterday together. Well, I think we just have to see what these guys can bring tonight and in the coming weeks. Our defense definitely doesn't look too bad when Volch and Greene come back and Foster plays some decent hockey.

DeBoer split them up because Tao-Urbom turned out to be unreliable, especially on the road where Boucher could match strong lines against them. Then when Urbom had his minutes cut, Tallinder ended up taking most of them. So yes, they were split up at times last night.

If they send Urbom down, I hope they do it before Albany's game tomorrow night.

I know it's all about what's right for the NHL club, but I'd like to see the developmental team also do well.

a victory tonight would be surprisngly nice, the panthers are beatable. itll be interesting to see how foster does and if he brings anything positive. i personally woulda held him out tonight considering the traveling hes done in the past two days and the fact that he was up at 330 am this morning. pairing him with salvador makes for one slow pairing, hopefully it works or gets changed if it doesnt.

I thought Palmieri was really good last night. Would rather have him in over Sestito to be honest, but whatever. Hoping there isn't another letdown in FLA.

I honestly think that was the best performance of a top line against us this year. Those three flat out ripped that victory away from us.

I remember it extremely well because the silver lining was that I could talk about what a stud Versteeg is this year to anyone I know that likes the Leafs.

Haha yeah you're right! We could have won by 2 last night. We could have also went to OT. Hedberg made a big save around the mark of 7 minutes left or so I think. We got screwed with the Stamkos goal just like with the goal against Ottawa at the end. Last night TB looked pretty good in the last minute so maybe they still could have scored that I don't know. Ottawa never would have.

Last time people complained about the refs screwing TB over in the November game. I notice the PK is fading a bit. Given up PP goals in the last 3 games. Good thing we've also scored shorthanded goals 3 times in the last 3 games too. The Ottawa PP goal was a 5 on 3, but come on really Montreal? They got a worse ranked PP than we do!

More useless trivia, and facts.

The 2 out of 3 teams in the NHL who now have over 100 goals against Ottawa, and TB we scored their 100th goal against on both. Doesn't mean much, but pretty cool. Carolina is the other team who has given up over 100 this season already.

We haven't lost to the same team twice! We lost to the Flyers opening night, and lost to the Leafs last month, and beat them both the second time. Also a few teams we beat the first time that lost to the next like Winnipeg, Isles, TB.

This whole relying on the Goaltender sucks! This is why Marty looks bad, and people talk trash. His record, and GAA. He just sees more pucks than he should, because the D sucks, and overworks him. Same with Moose last night, but he should have had that 2nd one.

With that said my buddy is here to pick me up, and we're off to South Florida! 4 hours with no traffic! Hope I walk out of there better than my first time there last month, and as good as I walked out of the Forum both times this season!

Oh, and by the way Palmieri is benched?! He was non existent last night, but scored our only goal against Montreal, and played pretty good that day overall I have to say.

The bottom 6 often gets shuffled based on who's playing well that night anyway. Tedenby will have his chances.
