I wonder how long before Kurtis Foster actually gets to sleep tonight? Once they arrive at the airport will Lou have a taxi take him to some hotel or something? Must be pretty crazy for the guy..
How and why do you have their flight information? O_O

The Devils are 7-2 in rematch games this season, and those two losses are the Jets and Isles, who we beat in the first match.

Therefore we've played 9 teams twice thus far, and have yet to lose to any team twice.

We'll test that record against the Stars and Canadiens this weekend.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that's a hired service for the team alone. Look at the flight history.

As much as Tallinder struggles at times, it would be awful news if his wrist is seriously injured.

chances are it has a standard seating area large enough to hold about 30 people and then some kind of lounge area in the back. i remember back when zach bogosian was a rookie he had a blog and talked about how all the other young guys would be in the lounge playing video games while he would be up sitting with mathieu schnieder. if the thrashers could afford that i'd imagine any team can.

Ever notice the Air Canada advertisements on the boards at the Rock? I've always assumed that meant that Air Canada was the official airline of the Devils.

Gonna remind you guys about that slash to Kovy in the Islanders game.

Kovy has 10 points in the 9 games since that Isles game.

Take a hike Dineen. Don't be a ***** because your team got served. It's pretty obvious that Florida got knocked down a peg tonight. They're a one line team no matter what their record may indicate.

The 80's??? The free-flowing, high scoring, Gretzky, Lemiuex, Bossy, Coffey, 80s? If anything it was the 97-04 period. I never liked Dineen.

I honestly have no clue what he was whining about.

Don't forget though, his team has the best PP and they only got 1 try at it. If it was his way, the whole game would be special teams probably.

Ed Jovanovski was by far the worst tonight as far as interference.

And I don't think Dineen was complaining or saying that we were worse than them. He just said that they didn't call it like they normally call games nowadays. Most refs would have handed Jovo at least 2 penalties.

BTW I'm a little late in the shootout debate... but if they change anything, I'd like to see 3 on 3 hockey for 2 minutes after the 5 minute 4 on 4 and then take it to the shootout.

I like the shootout, but I don't like how it takes the defense totally out of it. But... if your best guy is a defenseman, there's nothing saying you can't put him out there on the shootout. And if he has a blast of a shot or a sneaky wrister, that's all it takes.

3 on 3 hockey? That's proves just as much/little as a shootout, except instead of having the most skilled players prevail in a shootout, you have the fastest players prevailing in 3v3.
