adam henrique putting up numbers

The guys has 22 points in his last 20 games. Obviously playing on a line with parise and kovalchuk helps but he's been no slouch himself. What's do you guys think his ceiling is?

Weird thing is, when i look at the games, often Henrique looks better than Parise or Kovy.
That guy is awesome stickhandler and has vision. Hard to say what the upside is, what i read earlier was somewhere between 2-3 liner. I think somebody compared him to Dave Bolland earlier. Could get better. 60 -points per season should be sure thing if he continues to play like that.

He's been the best Devil on more than a few nights, IMHO, hopefully he doesn't get screwed over by Zajac coming back.

Most of his points are the result of hard work or nice skill, not a lot of chincy 2nd assists where he didn't do much.

Before he played this season, the general consensus among Devils fans was that he would be a 2nd-3rd line tweener with good two-way play. Now, he has clearly shown that he's going to be a top 6 player in this league. He's a mirror image of Parise.

He should be good for 55-60 points a season every year.

probably a 60 pt centre who gets a couple 80+ seasons in his career. Timing couldn't be perfect with the Parise "uncertainty", if you want to call it that.

Parise has taken him under his wing and had done a great job in mentoring Henrique. Adam's work ethic is very Parise like and although he's a tad bigger than Zach, he plays the same way - minus the above average wrist shot. His hands are unreal, his speed his NHL acceptable and his passing is terrific. He just needs to work on his defense and faceoffs a little more but that's with most rookies. At the very least I think he'll be a Zajac clone at best he'll be Zajac with 10-15 more points per season.

Excellent prospect development. Probably wouldnt have blossomed in some other organizations.

The Flyers and Devils have played twice this season, and each time I came away highly impressed with Henrique. The first time, which was the second game of the season, I remember saying to my friend, "Who the hell is this guy?" By the time the second matchup rolled around I'd done research on Henrique and was familiar with him. He proceeded to score a goal and had an assist in that game.

Definitely a keeper.

I think it came up in discussion when Henrique played with Hall and Nemisz on the Spits, that it was assumed he was being carried.

Now as I look at it, Hall and Henrique were the good players and Nemisz was merely along for the ride. GREAT scouting Sutter!

First time I saw Henrique play was in the Memorial cup. I remember thinking that he looked just as good as Hall and that they were both very comparable in skill. Now it looks like Henrique is just slower to develop chemistry with linemates but once he gels with them he makes them better.

I remember I wanted Henrique from the devils a couple of years ago but got shut down, as he was supposed to be a great checking centerman, but now he's putting up points? best of both worlds for the Devils.
