Would be great to win all 3 games this week. Tonight and Friday are must wins though.

Let's string some games together here.

Reimer has proven himself in the NHL more than Gus has in less time, Reimer deserves more than 2 freaking games after a concussion to get back to form. Its crazy how easy people jump on and off bandwagons so fast and so frequently, unbelievable.
Srry, but reims doesn't deserve the start more than gus. Plus reimer might have been a better goalie last year but this year gus has been slighty better. I'm not trying to say reimer is bad goalie, but numbers in past 5 games shows gus is more reliable to start right now than him. Nevertheless i hope reimer get the win tonight, to get his groove back.

Reimer had a concussion..

Correct me if I'm wrong but Reimer was 4-0-1 to start the season, healthy. Then Gus went in, lost. The next game was against Montreal which Reimer started (and got hurt in) and still finished the 1st period with amazing saves. Gus went in and let in some awful goals, but still came out with the W, probably due to Reimer's solid play in the 1st.

Gus has been good lately, really good, because he's been playing. So..wouldn't it make sense that maybe Reimer hasn't been good because he hasn't been playing?

If you agree, then you should want Reimer in to get back to his usual self, unless you want us to miss the playoffs.

Reimer, from what I recall, has a good record vs. the Canes and they don't have Skinner tonight. Not to mention they just dealt Kaberle away and are the worst team in the league.

Skinner is out tonight, possible concussion.

I like the kid, I hope he jumps back soon. Although I'm a bit glad we don't see him tonight.

Scouting game tonight: Oilers, Blackhawks, Bruins, Wild, Coyotes, Jets, Canucks, Blues, Preds. Full house.
From the Canes board... I wonder if any are there for the Leafs?

The officiating can't possibly be as bad as it was the last time these two teams played so the Leafs should get 2 points.

Gus's career: .898, 3.10, 31-33-11
Reimers career: .909, 2.78, 24-12-7

Gus has been a leaf for 3 years, Reimer has been a leaf for 1 year. I just think Reimer deserves the benefit of the doubt more than Gus does. However 2 good goalies is better than one and I understand the logic in riding the hot hand.

We need this win tonight, Go Leafs Go!

That's some amazing coverage by Dion.

Leafs seriously need to win tonight. They've been losing too much at home and too much lately. Carolina sucks too.

It would be good to win all three of the games and especially tonight's and Friday's, but "must wins"? Please, hold off on the hyperbole. The Leafs' quest for the playoffs is not over if the Leafs don't win those games so they are not "must win" games.

Do you remember the energy he and his team brought to his 1st game back in Calgary last december? It was terrible. Hopefully this one is important to him.

Do players even care much at all about stuff like that? I always assumed that most of these things were just played up by the media to make games seem more important.

Be nice if the Leafs could get a string of home games in a row but the schedule this season doesn't seem to give them many opportunities. Although they have actually been better on the road so far this season.
