Some fun fights, as usual. Its way too slow for me to watch start to finish but I will enjoy DVRing it and watching the next day at a more reasonable pace.
The lineup for "DREAM: New Year! 2011" continues to fill, and former UFC legend Josh Barnett (31-5) and MMA legend Kazushi Sakuraba (26-16-1) are among the latest additions to the year-end event.
DREAM executives recently announced both notables will take part in pro-wrestling contests, with Barnett facing Hideki Suzuki while Sakuraba and Katsuyori Shibata take on Shinichi Suzukawa and Atsushi Sawada in a tag-team affair.
There is alot of good fights mma fights on the card, so I don't mind some Japanese style (different than WWE, more realistic) Pro wrestling to as complement. Provided its actually legit wrestlers like Barnett or Saku, there is absolutly no reason why Aerts or CopCop should be doing it.
Tim Sylvia will be in Japan to ring in 2012, after all.
With his fight against Brett Rogers at Dream's New Year's Eve show scrapped when Rogers could not obtain a visa, Sylvia will now take part in the card in a pro wrestling bout against Jerome LeBanner. Sources close to the fighters confirmed the matchup to HeavyMMA.com on Thursday morning.
